How To make Mexican Appetizer
1 (8 oz) package cream
-cheese, softened 1/2 Jar thick and chunky
-picante sauce 1/2 Jar dried beef, chopped
8 -10 flour tortilla shells
1 c Cheese, grated
-Paprika Mix cream cheese, picante sauce and dried beef until creamy. (You may chop the dried beef in a food processor, then add the other two ingredients and mix.) Place one tortilla shell on serving dish and spread with a layer of the mixture. Repeat this process until you have a stack of 8 to 10 tortilla shells with cream cheese layers between. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Cut into wedges to serve. Sprinkle with grated cheese and paprika. If desired, serve with sour cream, guacamole, or extra picante sauce on the side. Quesados Mexican Appetizer
Soft flour tortillas filled with cheese and avocado and broiled in the oven make a delicious Mexican appetizer any time of year!

Ingredients
6 flour tortillas 8-inch
1 medium avocado peeled and cut into chunks
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup sour cream
1/2 cup shredded Mexican Style cheese
1 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese
Instructions
Prepare tortilla by warming them in a dry, hot skillet or by steaming them. Keep tortillas warm. Place avocado, onion, lemon juice, salt and garlic powder in food processor. Process until smooth.
In a large bowl, mix together the avocado mixture, 1/2 cup Pepper Jack cheese, sour cream, and 1/2 cup Colby Jack cheese.
Spread avocado mixture on one side of 3 of the flour tortillas. Top with remaining tortillas and press down gently.
Preheat broiler and using a pizza cutter, cut each tortilla into 8 triangles. Place on large cookie sheet and sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup of Colby Jack cheese. Broil about 3 minutes until cheese is just melted.
Serve with sour cream or taco sauce.
Notes
You can use any cheese you like and even substitute prepared guacamole to save you some time.
While you can certainly use corn tortillas for this appetizer, flour is softer and works better. You can make your own flour tortillas (even flavored ones!) or your favorite brand, just be sure to warm them a bit before starting.
If you happen to taste test the filling mixture before the appetizer is complete, don't be alarmed at the salty taste. The finished quesados are not too salty and come out perfect.

Back in the day I used to make the pico for our family barbecues. My grandma used to tell me it was the best recipe she ever had. So good in fact, that there would have to be TWO whole bowls because I would eat an entire on myself ????
In this video I’m gonna share the authentic, restaurants style and homemade recipe we use for our favorite snack and condiment – PICO DE GALLO!
My personal pro tip here is to use SERRANOS instead of jalapeños to take the heat up a few notches. And the best part of this recipe is you can adjust all the ingredients to you personal preferences.
You can add more tomato, less onion, double the chile or omit the cilantro – whatever you and your friends and family like, it can be done easily in this delicious recipe.
