How To make Max's Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 1/2 c Flour (or whole wheat)
1 1/2 ts Baking soda
1 ts Salt
1 c Quaker oats
Mix these/set aside. 1 c Butter or margarine
1 c Sugar
1 c Brown sugar
1 tb Vanilla extract
2 Eggs
Mix throughly/add to flour -mix Add: 1 ts Cinnamon
1 ts Ginger
1 ts Allspice
1 ts Ground cloves
1 ts Nutmeg
2 Bananas; mashed
1 c Raisins
(cooked in 1 cup water (save water if needed) 1 c Shredded coconut
1/2 c Molassas
(or sorghum) 1/2 c Peanut butter
1 c Walnuts; ground
12 oz Chocolate chips
1/2 c Dried currants
1/2 c Pitted dates; chopped
Drop by heaping teaspoons on cookie sheet. Cook 17-18 minutes at 350 degrees in oven. Cool on rack. DON'T COUNT THE CALORIES. Max NOTE: I believe the walnuts can be very, very finely chopped. -----

LARGE SINGLE SERVE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE FOR ONE
Crispy on the edges and chewy in the middle this single serve chocolate chip cookie is the perfect answer to that chocolate chip cookie craving!
Ingredients Needed:
1 1/2 Tbsp butter softened
2 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar
2 Tbsp granulated sugar
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup all purpose flour plus 1 Tbsp flour
1/8 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Mix together butter and sugars.
Add in egg yolk and vanilla and stir to combine.
Add in dry ingredients and chocolate chips.
Stir just until combined.
Form into a ball and slightly flatten.
Place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Bake for 12 – 15 minutes.

Butter (Softened) 115g (1/2 cup)
All purpose flour / Self raising flour 190g - (1 1/2 cups)
Sieved flour 190g - (1 1/2 cups), Baking soda 1/2 tsp, Baking powder 1/4 tsp, Salt 1/2 tsp
Chopped dark chocolate / Chocolate chips 200g
White sugar 50g (1/4 cup)
Brown sugar 100g (1/2 cup)
One large egg
Vanilla Extract / Vanilla bean pod 1 1/2 tsp

I got a lot of requests to do another baking basics recipe! This time it's for the perfect chunky chocolate chip cookie! If you like your cookies soft and gooey, this is the cookie for you! I've also done another video making chocolate chip cookies but those ones are for if you like them thin!

THE THINGS YOU’LL NEED:
Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 ¼ cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
½ teaspoon salt
¾ cup unsalted butter, melted
½ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup light brown sugar, lightly packed
1 large egg plus 1 egg yolk, room temperature
2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup 60% Ghirardelli chocolate chips
1 teaspoon sea salt flakes (or as desired)

5 Ingredient Protein Cookies

►INGREDIENTS:
2 medium ripe bananas
2 scoops (60 grams) unflavoured whey protein powder
1 cup quick or old fashioned rolled oats
2 tbsp peanut butter unsalted
2 tbsp chocolate chips mini
Cooking spray I use Misto

►DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line large baking sheet with unbleached parchment paper or silicone baking mat, and spray with cooking spray.
2. In a medium bowl, mash bananas with a fork. Add whey protein powder, oats and peanut butter. Stir well to combine, batter's consistency will be runny. Add chocolate chips and give a few more stirs.
3. Spoon mixture onto prepared baking sheet (cookies don’t spread, so shape them now) and bake for 12-14 minutes (depending on size). Cool on a cooling rack for 5 minutes.
