How To make Maple Syrup Pecan Pie
1 flaky pasty crust (single)
3 eggs
1 c light brown sugar
packed
1 c maple syrup :
pure
4 TB butter, unsalted melted
1/4 ts salt
1 ts vanilla extract
2 c pecans :
coarsely chopped
Lightly grease a ten-inch pie pan and put the pie crust in. Set the oven at 400 degrees to pre-heat. Position a rack to the middle. In a bowl, beat the eggs until they are combined. Add the sugar and mix well. Stir in the maple syrup, butter, salt, vanilla, and pecans. Pour the filling into the pie crust and tranfer to the oven. Bake the pie for 10 minutes. Reduce the temparature to 350 and bake for an additional 30-35 minutes or until the filling is set. Give the pie a gentle shake; the center should remain firm. Let the pie sit at room temperature to cool completely. To make in advance, wrap the cooled pie in plastic wrap, then in heavy-duty aluminum foil. Gently press the foil against the pie. Freeze for up to two months. Defrost the wrapped pie at room temperature. Uncover the pie and warm in a 300-degree oven for ten minutes before serving. Maple syrup + pecans = match made in heaven!
I wanted to pay respect to both ingredients given that they are crazy delicious and let's face it, they are pricey!
So I decided to make a pecan pie, added maple and bourbon in the filling for an extra flavour boost! And for the crust I decided to use the flakiest pastry I know, the pate brisee!

Ingredients:
1 pate brisee recipe (
3 eggs
4 tbsp (57g) butter, melted
2 1/2 cups (300g) of pecans
1/4 cup (82g) maple syrup
3/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp bourbon (totally optional)
1/2 cup (185g) glucose
1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar

• 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
• ½ cup salted butter
• 1 cup corn syrup
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 4 large eggs, beaten
• 1 ½ cups pecans, halves or chopped
✅Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
2️⃣ Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
3️⃣ Once melted, add corn syrup, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt. Stir to combine until everything if fully melted.
4️⃣ Remove from heat and whisk in eggs and stir in pecans.
5️⃣ IPour the mixture into a 9-inch uncooked pie shell.
6️⃣ Bake for 55 minutes in the preheated 325 degree oven, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
7️⃣ Serve with either whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Tips!
1. Its is very important that the syrup butter mixture is not hot when added to the eggs. It will give the pie a weird texture if you add it hot.
2. Parbake the pie crust for 10 minutes at 350 before adding the pecans. iIforgot, but please do this, especially with a homemade pie crust.
3. Pecan pie must completely cool before serving. Actually I think its best served cold. Chilling it for a few hours will help you cut the pie easier.
4. Do not overbake this pie. If you do that then the goo part will become eggy or congealed.

Easy Pecan Pie Recipe with maple syrup

Ingredients
1 Pastry case
3 Eggs
1 Cup of sugar
1 Tablespoon of melted Butter
1 Cup of Maple syrup
1 Tablespoon of flour
1 to 1 1/2 Cups of Halved Pecan nuts enough to cover the base of the pastry case
1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 Tablespoon Self Raising flour
Preperation
cover the base of the pastry case with the Halved Pecan nuts
in a bowl beat the eggs add the sugar and continue to mix well
add the Maple syrup Vanilla essence and melted butter mix weill
add the flour and mix well for a few minutes
pour the mixture over the pecan nuts
place in a preheated oven 350f 160c
Bake for 45 minutes
Allow to cool completely before serving enjoy

OLD SCHOOL PECAN PIE!!
This is one of the simplest and easiest pies to make
I have made this and posted my recipe Old school style
4 whole eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 cup Karo syrup
1 tablespoons vanilla
1 cup pecan halves
Place pecans in pie shells
Mix all remaining ingredients together and add to 8 in par cooked pie shell
Cook in 350 degree oven for 20minutes cover with foil and cook an additional 40 minutes or until firm
Let cool and enjoy
