How To make Maple Syrup Brown Bread
1 c cornmeal
1 3/4 c graham or whole wheat flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1 c maple syrup
2 c buttermilk or sour milk
1 c seedless raisins
Mix the two flours, salt and soda. Add th emaple syrup to the milk and pour all at once over the dry ingredients.
Add the raisins and mix thoroughly. Pour into a well-greased 1 1/2 quart mould, cover loosely with foil. Place in a steamer, or on a trivet in a saucepan large enough to leave a space all around the mould. Fill the pan with water to halfway up the mould. Cover and steam over low heat for 3 1/2 hours. Or bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour, using 2 greased 4 X 8" breadpans. Cool on cake rack. Serve warm or warm up in the oven. It freezes well. Not necessary to thaw out, simple place the frozen loaf in a 350 degree F oven for 30 minutes or until hot.

Ingredients:
1 cup (90g) Rolled oats
3 cups (375g) All-purpose/Bread flour
1/4 cup (80g) Maple syrup
1 1/3 cups (320ml) Boiling water
1¼ teaspoons Instant dry yeast
1½ teaspoons Salt
2 tablespoons (30g) Melted butter
Directions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, or in the bowl of an electric mixer combine boiling water, oats, maple syrup, butter and salt. Mix and let cool slightly.
2. Add flour, yeast and stir until dough forms. Knead the dough for 7-8 minutes.
3. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover and let rise 1 hour, until doubled.
4. Gently deflate the dough, shape it into a log. Place the log in a lightly greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Cover the pan, let rise for about 1 hour or it's crowned about 1-inch over the rim of the pan.
5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
6. Brush with water and sprinkle some rolled oats on top of the loaf. Bake for 40-45 minutes. If the bread appears to be browning too quickly, cover with aluminum foil for the rest of baking.
7. Let cool completely before cutting.

2 eggs
60ml milk
1tbsp white sugar
1/4tsp ground cinnamon
A pinch of salt
Mix well
2 slices of bread
Cut off the crusts (optional)
Medium-low heat
1tbsp unsalted butter
Pour the egg over the bread
Flip over and cover with the egg
Repeat
Pour the rest of the egg
Soak the egg mixture with the bread
Place in the frying pan
Shape the bread with the spatulas
Flip over
Fry the sides
Done!
Maple syrup
So fluffy and delicious!

Banana Bread with Pecans and Maple Syrup
Tired of Banana bread ? Well try this Banana bread with crunchy pecan nuts with tasty Maple syrup.
Ingredients
8 oz Self Raising Flour
1/4 Teaspoon Bicarbonate of Soda
3 oz Butter
4. oz Soft light brown sugar
2 Beaten Eggs
1 lb ripened Bananas
3 oz chopped Pecans
2. Tablespoon Maple Syrup
Method
Sift the flour and add the bicarbonate soda and mix
Add the mashed Bananas and Pecans
In a bowl add the butter and sugar and whisk until creamy
Add half the beaten eggs to the flour and combine
Add the remaining beaten egg
Gradually add the butter and sugar mix into the flour
Mix well until the flour has combined
Add 2 Tablespoon Maple Syrup and mix well
Preheat oven 160c
In a lined Loaf tin pour in the mixture
Smooth over the top
Place in oven Bake for 1 1/4 hours
Use a skewer or Toothpick to ensure cooked throughout
Remove and allow to cool in loaf tin for 30 mins
Remove and place on cooling rack
