How To make Macaroni with Beans& Tuna
1 lb elbow macaroni
cooked
12 ozs tuna in water :
drained and flaked
16 ozs dark red kidney beans, canned drained
1/2 c onions :
chopped
1/4 c parsley
2 tbsps white vinegar
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 c Swiss cheese -- shredded
Prepare pasta according to package directions. While pasta is cooking, combine tuna, beans, onions, and parsley in a mixing bowl. In a small bowl, whisk together vinegar, salt, and black pepper. When pasta is done, drain it well and toss it with the bean mixture. Pour vinaigrette over pasta and toss well. Spoon cheese over pasta and toss gently. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

INSTANT POT BLACK BEANS & PASTA | Pressure Luck 101
Press the Sauté button
Add 1/2 lb Pasta
Add 2 cups water
Add 1 tsp salt
Add 1 cup black beans (soaked overnight)
close the lid
press the pressure cook button and set the time for 8 mins
turn the knob to sealing position
paste is done
cancel the pressure cook button
quick release the pressure
open the lid
drain the water from the pasta
2nd step
press the saute mode
add 1 tbsp olive oil
add 1 tbsp chopped garlic
Add 1 cup Onion sliced
Saute for 30 seconds
add 1/3 cup bell pepper
Add 1 tsp Cumin Powder
Add 1 tsp Paprika
Salt as per the taste
Saute for 30 seconds
add 1 cup pasta sauce
mix it
add boiled pasta and beans
mix it well
pasta is ready to be served

Tuna with cannellini beans, Danish feta & lemon
RECIPE BY MICHAEL OLIVIER
Serves 4
Ingredients:
1 tin (400g) cannellini beans
1 lemon, grate the rind first and then squeeze
2 stalks celery, thinly sliced on the slant
6 mint leaves, finely chopped
100g Danish Feta cheese, cut into cubes
Extra virgin olive oil
4 x 150g tuna fillets
1 bag rocket leaves
Sea salt and freshly milled lack pepper
Lemon cheeks to serve
Rocket to garnish
Method:
Place the beans in a glass or ceramic bowl and add the lemon rind and juice, celery, mint leaves and feta. On a hot ridged grill pan, sear the tuna for about 2 minutes on each side. Dish onto a plate, cover with a generous spoon of the salsa and garnish with lemon cheeks and rocket leaves tossed in a little salad dressing.
