175 g 6 oz red lentils. 100 g 3,5 oz cheddar cheese grated 5 ml 1 tsp vegetable extract. 5 ml 1 tsp dried mixed herbs. 10 ml 2 tsp sunflower oil. 2 md Onions peeled and chopped. 1 Clove garlic crushed. 300 ml Half pt water. Put the lentils, cheese, vegetable extract and mixed herbs into a bowl. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan and gently fry the onions and garlic. Mix with the lentils and spoon into a large lightly greased oven proof dish. Add the water and cover the dish with foil. Cook in the oven at 180 c 350 f, gas mark 4 for one and a half hours.

What you’ll need:
LAZY RICE & LENTIL BOWL #1
1 cup white rice (190g), I used Basmati ½ cup red lentils (~90g) 2 bay leaves 2 cups water 1 cup veggie broth (250ml) = 1 cup water + 1 tsp powdered vegetable stock a few handfuls of fresh baby spinach
for serving:
2-3 Tbsp tomato sauce nutritional yeast to taste
→ serves 3-4
HUMMUS & RICE NOODLE SALAD
100 g rice noodles (3,5 oz) ½ cup peas, frozen ( ) a handful of greens a handful of parsley, fresh or frozen 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
for the dressing:
2 Tbsp hummus 1 tsp tahini juice of 1 lemon tamari to taste additional spices if ya like → serves 1-2
BBQ BLACK BEAN WRAPS
3-4 tortillas hummus greens 1 can black beans (~240g) ½ cup BBQ sauce (125ml) avocado nutritional yeast ~ 100g bulgur wheat, uncooked (3,5 oz)
→ enough for 3-4 wraps

My family can't get enough of this Austrian dish | Lentils with Bacon Recipe | Quick Recipes
Hello friends! Today I will show you my super easy version of Austrian lentils with bacon. For this dish you will need:
Lentils 300 g Bacon 100 g Onion 1 Dry vegetable broth 2 teaspoons Creme fraiche 150 g Fresh coriander 50 g Salt/Pepper Olive oil 2 bay leaves
Steps: 1. Dice onions 2. Cut bacon into small pieces 3. Pour some olive oil into a hot pan 4. Roast onions till they become a golden color 5. Add bacon, mix, and roast for several minutes 6. Wash 300g of lentils very thoroughly 7. Mix them with onions and bacon 8. Add vegetable broth 9. Pour 500 ml of water (use hot water to quicken the process) 10. Mix very thoroughly 11. Add 2 bay leaves 12. Let lentils cook for approximately 40 minutes (till they become soft) while stirring (low heat) 13. Lentils soak the water up quickly, so you will need to add some water every now and then 14. As soon as the lentils become soft, add creme fraiche and mix 15. Add a pinch of salt and pepper 16. And add 50 g of fresh coriander by the end 17. Cook for a further minute 18. Serve and enjoy!
