STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ARE PROVIDED IN THE VIDEO.
INGREDIENTS I USED:
Bake in oven preheated to 325 degrees for 1 hour 30-40 mins.
3 Sticks of UNsalted Butter (Room Temperature)
3 Cups Sugar
5 Eggs (Room Temperature)
3 Cups Cake Flour
1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1/4 Tsp Salt
1 Cup Milk (Room Temperature)
1 Tsp Lime Extract
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
1 Tsp Creme Bouquet Flavoring (Not a must have ingredient)
1 3 oz box Lime Jello
2 Fresh Limes
Lime Zest
Lime Juice
For GLAZE I USED:
Powdered Sugar
Cream Cheese
Lime Juice

How to make Key Lime Pound Cake, part 1 ( SIMPLIFIED )
KEY LIME POUND CAKE
( SIMPLIFIED/ SEMI HOMEMADE )
1 Box White Cake Mix ( yellow, butter or lemon can also be used )
1 - 3 ozs. Lime Jell-O ( depends on how green you want the cake )
1/3 c. Cake Flour
1/4 c. Sugar
5 Eggs
1/2 c. Buttermilk
1/4 c. Sour Cream
4 Tbsp. Key Lime Juice
4 Tbsp. Butter
1/4 c. Oil
1 tsp. Lime Extract
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
1 Tbsp. Lime Zest ( optional )

Cake
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup butter flavor shortening
2 1/2 cups white sugar
5 jumbo eggs, room temperature
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 tsp pure lime extract
1 1/2 tbsp key lime or lime zest
1/3 cup freshly squeezed key lime juice
5.3 oz carton key lime greek yogurt, room temperature
1/2 cup evaporated milk, room temperature
3 cups self rising flour, sifted
Green Food Coloring
1 (10 inch) greased bundt pan
Key Lime Simple Syrup
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup white sugar
4 1/2 tbsp freshly squeezed key lime or lime juice (or more if you like more tartness)
Key Lime Glaze
1 cup powdered sugar, whisk or sifted
3 tbsp freshly squeezed key lime or lime juice
1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
Vanilla Ice Cream and Key Lime Zest, for garnish
Baker’s Note: You can find Lime Extract at your Local Grocery Store or Online.
Preheat Oven to 325 Degrees
For the Cake: In a large bowl using a hand mixer, add butter, shortening, and sugar; cream until fluffy. Then add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Next add vanilla, lime extract, key lime zest and juice, key lime yogurt and evaporated milk, mix until well combined. Then slowly add flour to the butter mixture and mix until well incorporated, then mix in food coloring. Pour cake batter into bundt pan, shake and bang to get rid of the air bubbles. Bake for 1 hour and 25-30 minutes until golden brown or toothpick in the center comes out clean. Remove from oven and cool completely on wire rack. Place Pound Cake onto a cake plate, poke holes and spoon key lime simple syrup on top (You don’t need all of the syrup). Then drizzle the key lime glaze on top on the cake. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, lime zest (if desired) and serve!
Key Lime Simple Syrup: In a medium saucepan on medium heat, add water, sugar, and key lime juice. Stir and cook until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and cool completely.
Key Lime Glaze: In a medium bowl, add powdered sugar, key lime juice, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined. (Add more powdered sugar if it’s too thin, add more key lime juice if it’s too thick.)

key lime pound cake- 2 cups butter,3 cups of cake flour, 6 eggs ,2 tsp of zest lime ,one fourth cup of key lime juice, 3 cups of sugar ,1/2 teaspoon of baking powder ,1/4 teaspoon of salt, one cup of milk ,two teaspoons of vanilla extract, and two or three drops of green food coloring.
glaze 2 cup of powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 2 to 3 drops of green food coloring, 3 teaspoon of keylim juice and 2 teaspoon of milk
bake on 325 for 1hour and 20 minutes
