What’s up, guys? In this episode of The Brew: Craft Beer Reviews, I’m back with my dad Tomas to sample, rate, and review some mead!
This time, we’ll be trying Ceiba Winery’s Apple, Cinnamon, and Black Currant Mead. But in case you’re not sure what mead is, it’s basically honey wine. It’s almost like a cross between beer and wine and is made by fermenting honey and water with yeast. Fruits, grains, spices, and/or hops can also be added.
Ceiba Winery’s Apple, Cinnamon, and Black Currant Mead contains 14% alcohol by volume. Ceiba launched their brand, which also includes ciders and country wines, in Miami in 2020. This particular mead is known for its fruity, warming flavor.
Check out the video to see what we thought and how we rated it!
Have you ever tried Ceiba Winery’s Apple, Cinnamon, and Black Currant Mead? Have you ever tried mead at all? If so, tell us what your favorite kind is in the comments!
Cheers!

About Me:
My name is David Hoffmann. Since 2008, I have highlighted my travels around the world on YouTube and shone a spotlight on the culture, food, and people in over 1,000 cities around the world. Through my adventures, I also gained a deep appreciation for the unique craft beers and mind-blowing spirits I shared with locals from Suriname to Albania to Bhutan and everywhere in-between.
I created this channel to share my passion for these one-of-a-kind drinks and to share some of the knowledge I’ve accumulated over the years. On The Brew: Craft Beer Reviews, I will debut short, fun, and lighthearted weekly episodes where special guests and I sample, rate, and review delicious domestic craft beers, tasty international brews, and rare and unique spirits from across the globe.
So kick back, grab a glass, and let’s toast to the future! I can’t wait to get to know you. Cheers!
P.S. Thank you for watching my videos and subscribing!
