How To make Hope For More Chocolate Cake
1 1/4 c All-Purpose Flour
sifted
1 t Baking Soda
6 tb Cocoa Powder
1/2 c Shortening
1 c Sugar :
(plus 1 Tbsp)
2 Eggs
1/2 c Buttermilk
1/2 ts Vanilla
1/2 c Boiling Water
Marshmallow Icing----- 1 c Sugar
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 ts Cream Of Tartar
2 Egg Whites
3 tb Water
1 t Vanilla Extract
Combine flour, soda, and coca. Sift mixture 3 times. In a separate bowl cream shortening. Add sugar to shortening and cream until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, and beat for 2 minutes after each addition. Add the flour mixture alternately with the buttermilk, beating at medium speed after each addition. Add the vanilla. Add the water 1/3 at a time, beating well after each addition. Pour the batter into 2 ungreased 8-inch cake pans. Bake in a
350 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
In the top of a double boiler over simmering water, combine the sugar, salt, cream of tartar, egg whites, and water. Beat with an electric mixer at top speed for 4 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat and the simmering water and beat for 1 minute. Add vanilla and blend. Frost the chocolate

• Egg 4 large eggs
• Granulated sugar 4.9 oz | 140 g
• Milk 2 oz | 56 g
• Oil 2 oz | 56 g
• Salt 2 pinches
• Cocoa powder 1 oz | 28 g
• Cake flour 2.8 oz | 80 g
• Baking powder (Or baking soda) 1/2 tsp
[1/2 Batch] for 1 6” cake
Egg 2 large eggs
• Granulated sugar 2.45 oz | 70 g
• Milk 1 oz | 28 g
• Oil 1 oz | 28 g
• Salt 1 pinches
• Cocoa powder 0.5 oz | 14 g
• Cake flour 1.4 oz | 40 g
• Baking powder (Or baking soda) 1/4 tsp
???? Bake 355 F | 180C for:
• about 36-38 mins for 1 8” pan
• about 27-32 mins for 2 6’ pans (from one batch)
• about 25-27 mins for 1 6” pan (from half batch)
• about 35 mins for 1 6” pan (from 1.5 batch)
* Adjust the time and temperature accordingly.

2 cups palin flour

1 can 395 g condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla
100 g dutch process cocoa powder

Chocolate Cake Roll in grams and cups:
- 60 gr All Purpose Flour ( 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp)
- 4 tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 2 - 3 tbsp hot milk or hot coffee ( to bloom the cocoa powder)
- 3 Eggs
- 100 gr Sugar (1/2)
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 tsp Salt
Whipped Frosting:
- 200 gr Heavy Cream ( 7 ounces)
- 100 gr Philadelphia Cream Cheese ( 3.5 ounces) ( If you don't want to use cream cheese, substitute it for 100 gr more of heavy cream, and use less sugar)
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 60 gr Fine Sugar ( 5 tbsp)
For a more pronounced chocolate flavor, you can cover the cake in chocolate ganache :)
Use a 30x40 cm pan ( 12x16 inch)
