Ingredients
Mixed Fruit Jam - 3 Tbsp
Desiccated Coconut
Dry Ingredients
Maida - 2 1/2 Cups
Sugar - 1/2 Cup
Baking Powder - 2 Tsp
Baking Soda - 1 Tsp
Salt - 1/4 Tsp
Wet Ingredients
Milk - 2 Cups
Condensed Milk - 1/2 Cup
Refined Oil - 1/2 Cup
Melted Butter - 1/4 Cup
Vanilla Essence - 1 Tsp
Vinegar - 1 1/2 Tsp
To Make Sweet Syrup
Water - 1/2 Cup
Sugar - 1/4 Cup
Honey - 3 Tbsp
Method:
In a bowl, add all the dry ingredients together and mix well
In another bowl, whisk all the wet ingredients together
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients
Whisk everything well
Line a cake tin with parchment paper, add pour the cake batter into it
Preheat the oven at 180C for 15 mins
Bake the cake for about 45 mins
Take the cake out, let it cool down completely on a cooling rack
Take the cake out from the cake tin
Cut the top, edges, and poke holes all over the cake using a wooden stick
Heat a pan with some water, add sugar and let it come to a boil
Once the sugar is dissolved, add honey and mix well
Set it aside till it is warm
Pour the warm sugar and honey syrup all over the cake
Heat a pan with some jam, let it melt
Now spread the melted jam over the cake
Add desiccated coconut all over the cake
Cut the cake into small pieces and serve them.

Medovik Russian Honey Cake Recipe in gr and cups медовик рецепт :
- 170 gr Butter ( 1 1/2 sticks)
- 200 gr Honey ( 7 ounces )
- 170 gr Sugar ( 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp)
- 1 1/2 tsp baking Soda
- 5 medium Eggs
- 750 gr Flour ( 5 1/3 cups )
- Good pinch of Salt
NOTE: This recipe makes up to 12 cake layers. Because the layers are a bit time consuming to make, I like to make a large quantity and freeze the remaning layers for another time.
Use a tall pan. Once you add the baking soda, don't walk away. The mixture will lighten in color and bubble up. After 1 - 2 min it will start to turn a deep honey color. At that point take it off the stove immediately.
Honey Cake Yogurt Frosting:
- 500 gr Heavy Cream ( 18 ounces )
- 200 gr Greek Yogurt ( 7 ounces)
- 70 gr Sugar ( 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp) but you can add the sugar to your liking.
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- Milk to dip the layers.

INGREDIENTS
For the salty honey cake:
- 180g (12 tbsp) soft salted butter
- 150g (½ cup) floral honey (I used Italian millefiori honey)
- 2 large eggs
- 180g (1 ½ cups) plain or ’00’ flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
- Pinch of coarse or flaky sea salt
For the salty honey glaze:
- 1 rounded tbsp floral honey
- 4 tbsp hot water from a recently boiled kettle
- Pinch of coarse or flaky sea salt
INSTRUCTIONS
For the salty honey cake:
1) Preheat your oven – 180 C / 160 C fan / 350 F / gas mark 4 – and grease and line a 18cm (7 in) round cake tin.
2) In a large bowl, beat together your soft butter and honey for 2-3 minutes.
3) Beat your eggs in one at a time until the mixture is smooth.
4) Sift over the flour, raising agents, and salt and gently stir in until JUST combined into a cake batter. (Over-mixing can make your cake come out tough or chewy, and no one wants that!)
5) Pour into your prepared tin and bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes or until risen and deeply golden on top. When ready, a skewer inserted into the centre of the cake should be cleanly removed.
6) Remove the baked cake from the oven.
For the salty honey glaze:
1) While your cake is still warm, stir together your glaze ingredients in a small bowl or cup until smooth.
2) Pour or brush over your glaze to evenly coat the top of the cake while it is still in its tin.
3) Allow the cake to cool completely before slicing.
4) Enjoy!

Prepare Frosting:

-Whipping cream 2 Cups

Prepare Sugar syrup:
-Sugar 4-5 tbs
-Warm water ½ Cup
Directions:
Prepare Honey Cake:
-In a bowl,add eggs,sugar & whisk well for a minute.
-Add vanilla essence,honey & whisk well.
-Add butter & place the bowl on double boiler,whisk continuously & cook on low flame until butter melts (approx. 4-5 minutes).
-Remove bowl from double boiler,add baking soda & whisk well.
-Gradually add all-purpose flour,mix well & gather the dough.
-Transfer the dough on a clean working surface & knead until smooth dough is formed then divide the dough into 9 portions.
-Take one small dough (130g) & make a ball,place dough ball on baking paper & roll out with the help of rolling pin & cut with the help of 6-inch cake cutter & prick with fork.Repeat the same process to make 6-8 sheets.
-Bake in preheated oven at 180C for 10 minutes.
-Take out from oven & trim edges of each rolled dough.
-In a chopper,add reserved cake scrapes,chop until crumbles & set aside.
-Reserve cake sheets for later use.
Prepare Frosting:
-In a bowl,add cream,lemon juice & whisk well for 30 seconds.Sour cream is ready!
-In a bowl,add whipping cream & beat until soft peaks form.
-Add vanilla essence,honey & beat well.
-Add sour cream,mix well & set aside.
Prepare Sugar Syrup:
-In a small bowl,add sugar,water,mix well until sugar is dissolved & set aside.
-Place cake layer on a butter paper around on serving plate.
-Apply sugar syrup & frosting on each cake layer.
-Repeat with all cake layer,frost top & sides of cake & cover with crumbs.
-Refrigerate overnight.
-Decorate & serve!

Ingredients
For the Syrup:
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup Greek honey
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup orange juice
For the Cake:
3 eggs at room temperature
1 cup Greek honey
4 oz (113g) butter, melted
1/2 cup yogurt
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon pure almond extract
1 cup (150g) all-purpose flour
1 cup (105g) almond flour
zest of an orange
2 teaspoons baking powder
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 °F, 180 °C.
Make the Syrup: Add the sugar, juice, and water to a small saucepan and bring it to a boil. Stir and as soon as the sugar dissolves remove the pot from the heat and add the honey. Stir and set aside to cool.
Make the Cake:
In a mixing bowl combine the flour, baking soda, and zest and whisk together.
In another large mixing bowl combine the eggs, butter, honey, vanilla, and almond extract and whisk them together until smooth. Add the yogurt and whisk together until incorporated.
Add the flour mixture in a few batches until just combined.
Grease a 9-inch round springform pan and pour the cake batter into the pan.
Bake the cake on the center rack of the oven for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick that is inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean or with some crumbs attached.
As soon as the cake comes out of the oven. poke it all around with a toothpick or skewer and pour the cooled syrup onto it.
Set the cake aside to cool for 2 hours.
Transfer the cake to a serving platter and serve topped with ice cream or with homemade whipped cream.
