How To make Honey: Honey Cardamom Coffee Cake
1 c Liquid honey
1/2 c Butter, softened
2 Eggs
1 ts Vanilla
2 c All-purpose flour
1 ts Baking powder
1 ts Ground cardamom
1/2 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt
2/3 c Sour cream
StrEUSEL TOPPING:
1/2 c Sliced almonds
1/3 c Packed brown sugar
1/3 c All-purpose flour
2 tb Butter
ICING:
1/2 ts Cinnamon
2/3 c Icing sugar
2 ts Milk
[For Valentine's Day use an 8-cup heart-shaped pan and bake for 1 hour and fifteen minutes.] In bowl, beat honey with butter until smooth; beat in eggs, 1 at a time, and vanilla. Stir together flour, baking powder, cardamom, baking soda and salt; add to honey mixture alternately with sour cream, making 3 additions of dry mixture and 2 of sour cream. spoon into greased 9-inch springform pan, smoothing top. Streusel Topping: In small bowl, stir together almonds, sugar and flour; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over batter. Bake in 350F 180C oven for about 1 hour or until tester inserted into centre comes out clean. Let cool in pan on rack for 15 minutes. Remove from pan; let cool completely. Icing: Sprinkle cinnamon over cake. Whisk icing sugar with milk; drizzle over cake. 10 servings for $6.21 CDN [Feb/95]

INGREDIENTS
Caramel
50 grams (3½ tablespoons) unsalted butter, plus more for greasing
100 grams (heaping ½ cup) light brown or muscovado sugar
1 teaspoon ground cardamom
3 1/2 medium Bosc pears, peeled, halved, seeds removed
Cake
150 grams (¾ cup) superfine sugar
200 grams (½ cup plus 6 tablespoons) unsalted butter, softened
150 grams (1 cup plus 5 tablespoons) self-rising flour
50 grams (½ cup) blanched, finely ground almonds or almond flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
4 large eggs
3 tablespoons orange zest (from 2 to 3 oranges)

Cinnamon Breakfast Cake
A little bit coffee cake, a little bit tea cake and a lot like a big, soft snickerdoodle, this easy Cinnamon Breakfast Cake is so good!

Cardamom cake| Easy cake recipe
Ingredients:
All purpose flour ( maida)-1 cup (130g)
Baking powder -1&1/2 teaspoon
Salt-1/8 teaspoon
Sugar-3/4 cup (150g)
Egg-3 ( room temperature)
Milk-1/2 cup (120 ml)
Oil-1/2 cup (120 ml)
Cardamom powder -3/4 teaspoon
Lemon juice-1/2
Method:
1. Sift the flour, salt and baking powder.
2. Whisk egg and sugar until fluffy. For 3-4 minutes, stopping in between. You can use a blender instead of hand mixer.
3. Add cardamom powder, lemon juice, oil and milk.
4. Whisk until combined.
5. Add the sifted flour and gently fold until combined.
6. DO NOT OVER MIX THE BATTER.
7. Transfer the batter into a pan( greased with oil and lined with parchment paper).
8. Bake in a preheated ( 170C for 5 minutes) oven at 170°C for 40-45 minutes.
