How To make Honey Chocolate Cake
2 1/2 c Sifted Flour
1 ts Baking Powder
1 ts Baking Soda
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c Shortening
1/2 c Sugar
3/4 c Honey
1 Egg, Separated
2 oz Chocolate, Melted
1/4 c Water
1/2 c Sour Milk
1 ts Vanilla
Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt together. Cream shortening with sugar and honey until fluffy. Add 1/2 cup dry ingredients and blend. Add beaten yolk and chocolate; beat thoroughly. Add dry ingredients and liquids alternately in small amounts, blending after each addition. Fold in stiffly beaten egg white. Bake in greased pan in moderate oven 350?F for 40 to 50 minutes.

1/2 cup (110g) unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup + 1 1/2 tbsp (150g) honey
3 eggs
1 tsp (5g) vanilla extract
2/3 cup (160g) buttermilk
1/2 cup (60g) unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp (2g) instant coffee powder
1/2 tsp (3g) salt
1 tsp (4g) baking powder
1/2 tsp (3g) baking soda
1 3/4 cup (220g) all-purpose flour
Cream Cheese Honey Frosting
14 oz (400g) cream cheese
3 tbsp (24g) cocoa powder
1 tsp (5g) vanilla extract
3 tbsp (60g) honey

Just 6 ingredients to make an indulgent chocolate dessert, regardless of dietary restrictions? Yes you can! And not only will your counters remain gluten-free, but you'll be craving this light and yummy creation without any hesitation.
Ingredients for the cake:
- 8 oz bittersweet chocolate
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 6 large eggs, separated
- ½ cup Nature Nate’s pure honey
Ingredients for the cream:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tsp Nature Nate’s pure honey
- Pinch of salt
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 and butter a 9-inch spring form pan or soufflé dish. In a medium saucepan, set to medium high heat melt butter and then add chocolate, stirring frequently to prevent burning. Once the chocolate has melted, turn off heat and add the honey, whisk until combined.
Once cooled, add the egg yolks and whisk. Meanwhile, whip the egg whites using an electric or standing mixer. Once soft peaks form, gently fold in half of the egg whites into the cooled chocolate mixture, then fold in the remaining egg whites. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the center springs back slightly when touched with the back of a spoon. Scoop out cake onto plates and serve with honey cream (the consistency should be in between a pudding and a cake).
In a small saucepan set to medium low heat, add the cream and bring to a simmer. Whisk in the honey and salt and continue stirring until the mixture thickens. Pour over individual portions of cake.
