How To make Herbed Rice
2 tb Light vegetable oil
2 Onions, chopped
2 Cloves garlic, chopped
1 c Uncooked brown rice
2 1/2 c Water
2 ts Dill weed
1/2 ts Thyme
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Black pepper
1 tb Butter
In a medium size pot, heat the oil. Add onions, garlic, and rice, and saute for 5 min. stirring frequently. Add the water, herbs, salt, pepper and butter. Stir til it is all mixed together. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, covered for about 40 minutes, or until the water is absorbed. Check after 30 min. if there is a lot of water left, remove the cover and finish the cooking. Let the cooked rice stand in the pot, covered for 15 minutes. ~--

To Make Herbed Mushroom Rice
Mushroom - 800 Gms
Basmati Rice - 1 1/2 Cups ( 1 Cup - 250 Ml )
Butter -1/4 Cup
Garlic - 2 Tbsp
Onion - 2 Nos
Salt - 1 Tsp
Pepper - 1 Tsp
Chilli Flakes - 2 Tsp
Italian Seasoning - 3 Tsp
Vegetable Broth - 3 Cups
Coriander Leaves
For Garnishing
Butter
Mushroom
Salt
Pepper
METHOD:
1. Take butter in a saucepan.
2. Add mushroom slices and mix well.
3. Add salt and pepper. Cook the mushrooms until they are completely done.
4. Once the excess moisture is evaporated, turn off the stove and keep these mushrooms aside.
5. Take a pot and add butter to it.
6. Add finely chopped garlic and onions. Saute for 2-3 minutes.
7. Then add the fresh mushroom slices and mix well.
8. For seasoning, add salt, pepper powder, chilli flakes and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
9. Add basmati rice soaked in water for about 30 minutes.
10. Gently mix the rice along with the mushrooms.
11. For 1.5 cups of rice, add 3 cups of the vegetable broth.
12. Gently mix it all well and cover the pot with a lid. Cook the rice for 15 minutes.
13. After 15 minutes, add freshly chopped coriander leaves and gently mix the rice.
14. Let the rice rest on the remaining heat for 5 more minutes by covering the pot with a lid.
15. Once done, transfer the herbed mushroom rice to a serving plate and garnish with the butter mushrooms and finely chopped coriander leaves

Mushroom- 100 g
Onion- 1/4 cup
Garlic- 1 tbsp
Sour Cream- 1/2 cup
Stock / Water- 150 ml
Chilly Powder- 1 tsp
Black Pepper Powder- 1/2 tsp
White Pepper Powder- 1/2 tsp
Nutmeg Powder- pinch
Salt- as required
Herb Rice
Rice- 3 cups
Basil- 2 tbsp
Parsley- 2 tbsp
Garlic- 1 tbsp
Chilly Flakes- 1 tsp

1 Cup Soaked Basmati Rice
1 tsp
1 tsp Oil
1/4 tsp Oregano
1 tsp Chilly Flakes
1 tsp Green Garlic
7-8 Basil Leaves
Salt to Taste
1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
To Make Pink Sauce:
4 Tomatoes
1 tsp Olive Oil
1/2 Green, Red and Yellow Capsicum
1/2 Cup Broccoli
50 Grams Paneer
1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
Salt to Taste
1/4 tsp Oregano
1 tsp Chilly Flakes
To Make White Sauce:
1 tsp Butter
1 tsp All Purpose Flour
1 Cup Milk
1 Cheese Cube
Salt to Taste
1/4 tsp Black Pepper Powder

This rice dish is based on one of the most famous Persian polos (pilaf), known as sabzi polo. And while the fried shallots are not traditional (you can take them out if you’d like), they add a crunchy layer to the dish.
