Baked Beans with Michael's Home Cooking
How I like to make Baked Beans. I top the beans with bacon and bake in the oven until the bacon is cooked with almost burnt edges for best flavor.
Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons butter
1 cup chopped onion or more
1/4 or 1/3 pound ground beef (optional)
3 cans pork and beans (15 ounce size cans)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup molasses
1 and 1/2 teaspoon yellow mustard
1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
2 Tablespoons brandy
1 and 1/2 cups ketchup
5 slices bacon
Yes... I only put in 1/2 cup ketchup because I was not thinking. I should have added the 1 and 1/2 cups ketchup. I wondered why the bean were dryer than normal. I guess I should make this video over.
