Grilled Shrimp & Pineapple Kabobs
2 lbs Jumbo Shrimp
1 Large Red Onion - cut in chunks
1 Green Pepper - cut in chunks
1 Red Pepper - cut in chunks
1 Pineapple - cut in large chunks
Sweet Chili Sauce
1/2 C Rice Wine Vinegar
1 Tbsp Cornstarch
1 1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
1/4 C Water
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
3 Cloves Garlic - minced
2 tsp Ginger - minced
2/3 C Honey
To prepare sauce, whisk together all ingredients in a saucepan and heat 2-3 minutes to thicken
then remove from heat.
Preheat grill to med-high heat
Prepare shrimp, red onions, peppers & pineapple onto skewers
Brush with oil and grill just until shrimp becomes opaque and vegi's start to char, 2 - 3 minutes
per side. Brush with sauce while grilling.
Transfer to serving platter and drizzle with remaining sauce.
Marinate chicken at least an hour or overnight if possible.
Assemble skewers and discard remaining marinade.
I usually make a little extra marinade so I have some left over for basting.
Grill skewers turning frequently brushing with marinade until golden brown on each side.

Easy Grilled Shrimp is full of flavor and easy to make either directly on the grill or on skewers. No marinating required!

✅Ingredients
• 1 pound jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
• 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
• 2 tablespoons lemon juice
• 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon onion powder
• 1 teaspoon dried oregano
• 1 teaspoon dried basil
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
• 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
✅Instructions
1️⃣ 00:00:13 - Place the shrimp into a large mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice.
2️⃣ 00:00:37 - Sprinkle paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper over shrimp. Toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate while grill preheats.
3️⃣ 00:01:25 - Preheat an outdoor grill to high heat, about 500 degrees F. Soak wooden skewers in water, if using, 10 minutes.
4️⃣ 00:01:31 - Either thread shrimp onto skewers to cook, or place the shrimp directly on the grill individually. Be sure that your shrimp are large enough to not fall through the grates if you are not threading them on a skewer.
5️⃣ 00:01:37 - Cook shrimp for 2 to 3 minutes per side until they are no longer translucent. Serve hot.

Spicy Tequila Lime Shrimp on the skewers! ???? ???? ????
I am totally feeling like some grilled seafood. Got some tiger prawns and marinated them in oil, honey, salt, pepper, cayenne and garlic powder. Skewered them up and grilled on the Lodge Cast Iron sportsman. Made a sauce out of garlic, butter, tequila, limes and cilantro. Flipped the shrimp and basted the sauce all over those tiger prawns. It was an epic combo. Worth every bite! Cheers!!! ???? ????
Ingredients:
Shrimp & Rub
- 1 lbs of Shrimp
- 1 tbsp of Honey
- 2 tsp of Salt
- 1 tsp of Pepper
- 1 tsp of Cayenne
- 1 tsp of Garlic Powder

Tequila Butter Sauce
- 4-5 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp of Tequila
- 2 tbsp of Butter
- 1 Lime, zested & juiced
- 2 tbsp of Cilantro, chopped
Steps:
- In a food safe bowl, mix shrimp with seasoning and set sit in fridge for 10 minutes.
- Preheat grill to medium high heat (350F) and add bbq sauce skillet.
- Skewer shrimp and add to skillet all Tequila Butter Sauce ingredients and let simmer for 1-2 minutes.
- Add shrimp too grill and cook for 2 minutes per side. Baste shrimp with butter sauce while cooking.
- Once done, pull shrimp off and enjoy!

Marinated Grilled Shrimp
Chef Jason Hill prepares a marinated grilled shrimp recipe in this episode of Chef Tips. The recipe uses Jason's lemon-herb marinade found at youtube.com/watch?v=YEKjMzp82rM and substitutes parsley for the cilantro.
After making the grilled shrimp marinade, place five shrimp on six pre-soaked skewers and marinate no more than 30 minutes.
