How To Make My Mom's MARVELOUS French Toast Casserole. This has always been one of my favorite breakfast dishes, and it's super easy to make - always a crowd pleaser!

MAMA’S FRENCH TOAST CASSEROLE
MIse En Place
16 oz bread, cubed (something crusty)
8 oz cream cheese, cubed
12 oz pack of breakfast sausage - cut into pieces (if using raw sausage, brown in a pan first)
10 eggs
2 ½ cups milk
1 stick butter, melted
¼ cup maple syrup
1 tbsp vanilla
2 tbsp cinnamon
Recipe
-Grease 9 x 13 glass dish with butter
-Spread ½ cubes in dish and spread around cream cheese and sausage
-Top with remaining bread cubes
-Beat together remaining ingredients
-Pour liquid over bread and press down to make sure all bread saturated
-Refrigerate 2-24 hours
-Bake for 1 hour at 325 degrees or until eggs set
-Serve with extra syrup

1 lemon
1 orange

BREAKFAST TOAST FOR THE WIN! If you haven't noticed, avocado toast has been sweeping local cafe's and breakfast restaurants for quite sometime now and I thought it'd be nice to sprinkle a bit of variety into the mix! 1 tbsp chopped red onion
1 tsp dijon mustard

1/4 cup olive oil
1 tbsp chopped rosemary, oregano, and thyme
2 tbsp chopped roasted cashews
1 tsp sliced lemon zest
1 chopped garlic clove
salt and pepper to taste
Ricotta:
1/2 gallon milk
5 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp salt
Blackberry Compote:
1 cup blackberries
2 tbsp brandy
4 tbsp brown sugar
