OLD SCHOOL STUFFED FRENCH TOAST WITH CREAM CHEESE AND ORANGE MARMALADE
I absolutely love french toast
This is my simple recipe for nice french toast with a fancy twist to it
The flavor and texture content in this dish is amazing
RECIPE:
3 whole eggs
1 cup whole milk
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup orange marmalade
1 cup cream cheese
4 slices thick sliced white bread ( Texas toast ) or sliced brioche
Mix all ingredients together in bowl
Spread cream cheese on both sides of bread
Spread marmalade on one side of the cream cheese
Place slices together and
Soak bread in mixture until fully coated with mixture
Cooking on hot griddle on both sides until golden brown
Eat with powder sugar,butter and syrup

✅Ingredients
16 slices bread
1 cup filling Nutella, jelly, or cream cheese
2 cups milk
5 large eggs
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons butter for cooking
✅Instructions
1️⃣ Take one slice of bread and spread 2 tablespoons of desired filling onto the surface, leaving a 1/2 inch edge untouched.
2️⃣ Take a second slice of bread and press it onto the top, crimping the edges by simply squeezing your fingers around the edge.
3️⃣ In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the milk and eggs.
4️⃣ Add brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt. Whisk until the mixture is smooth.
5️⃣ Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat.
6️⃣ Soak the stuffed bread in the mixture until it is saturated.
7️⃣ Cook the bread on each side until it is golden brown.
8️⃣ Serve with your favorite toppings, such as berries, whipped cream, a dusting of powdered sugar, and/or maple syrup.

4 Slices Bread
100g | 3.5oz Cream Cheese
15g | 2 Tablespoons Icing Sugar (Powdered Sugar)
8 Strawberries
2 Eggs
250ml | 1 Cup Milk
15g | 1 Tablespoon Butter
Cut four even slices of bread from a loaf, about 1 inch thick. Mix together the cream cheese and icing sugar until smooth. Divide the cream cheese mixture between the four slices of bread and spread evenly. Slice the strawberries into thin slices and place onto two of the slices of bread. Leave a small space at the edge of the bread. Press the remaining two slices of bread on top of the strawberries creating a sandwich. In a small bowl using a fork mix together the eggs and milk until well combined. Pour into a shallow dish and add the sandwiches. Allow the bread to soak in the egg mixture for about a minute before turning over carefully. Heat a frypan over medium heat and melt the butter. Remove the sandwiches from the dish and place into the frypan. Cook for about four minutes each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Slice in half and serve with a dusting of icing sugar and a drizzle of maple syrup.
