230G CANNED OR FRESH SKINLESS TOMATOES
1 MEDIUM ONION
3/4 OF A MEDIUM RED BELL PEPPER
1 1/2 TSP SWEET PAPRIKA
1/2 TSP AROMATIC SPICE BLEND (OPTIONAL)
1/2 TSP WHITE PEPPER
3 1/2 TBSP OLIVE OIL
1 1/2 TBSP BUTTER
1 TBSP FLOUR
2 CLOVES OF CRUSHED GARLIC
2 MEDIUM POTATOES

Easy Beef Goulash
In this video, I will be making a delicious easy goulash recipe that is perfect for an easy dinner. This recipe is a rich beef dish that is in a tasty tomato sauce & season with paprika.

If you want something to go with this dish, then I would recommend either cooking up some rice or some potato mash. You can also have some pasta with this as well, depending on what you prefer.
As you may already know, goulash is a stew of both vegetables and meat. It is typically seasoned with paprika and has a tomato sauce.
You will find a lot of recipes that have extra spices in it as well. This recipe I have kept pretty simple so that it is nice and easy. Being simple also helps saves a lot of time weighing out ingredients.

500g (17.5 oz) beef cut into strips
1 onion, thinly sliced
200g (7 Oz) button mushrooms sliced
1 Tbsp Paprika
400g (14 Oz) Can tomato soup
500g (17.5 Oz) diced tomatoes
Rice (Optional)
If you have cooked this dish and you’re finding that beef is a little bit tough for your liking, then try cooking it for a bit longer (2 hours). Alternatively, you can try buying a more tender cut of beef.
If you like things spicy, then adding about two teaspoons of chili or chili powder will help heat things up. The best time to add this would be at the same time when you go to add the onion and mushrooms.

INGREDIENTS WITH GRAM AMOUNTS
1/4 pound (114g) bacon - 1-inch pieces
2 pounds (910g) chuck roast - 2-inch cubes
1/4 cup (30g) flour - for dredging only, discard remainder
2 large yellow onions - diced
3 large bell peppers - assorted, chopped
2 large carrots - diced
5 cloves garlic - minced
3 plum tomatoes - chopped
1 teaspoon caraway seeds
5 tablespoons (30g) Hungarian paprika
2 large bay leaves
5 cups (1200g) low-sodium beef stock or broth
3 medium Yukon Gold potatoes - 1-inch cubes
3 tablespoons flat-leaf parsley - minced
salt and pepper - to taste

GOULASH
1 LB. lean ground meat
1 cup onions, chopped
1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped (optional)
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 (15 OZ.) can diced tomatoes
1 (15 OZ.) can tomato sauce
3 tablespoon tomato paste
1-1/2 cup water
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoons Paprike
2 teaspoon kosher salt
Pinch Crushed Red Pepper
1 bay leaf
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 cup (wheat or white) pasta
Colby Jack shredded cheese for topping GOULASH, optional
1. In a 5-6 quart Dutch oven, or heavy sauce, over medium heat, add ground beef. Cook until meat is lightly brown with a little pink still showing.
2. Add onions & green bell pepper. Cook until onions are translucence.
3. Add garlic. Cook 1 minute.
4. Add oregano, paprika, bay leaf, salt, and crushed red pepper. Stir well.
5. Pour in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomate paste, and water. Stir well. Bring to a boil. Cover. Cook 15 minutes.
6. Stir in pasta (make sure the tomato sauce is bubbling, before adding the pasta). Cover. Cook pasta according to package directions.
7. Let GOULASH rest for 10 minutes before serving.
TIPS: Store GOULASH in refrigerator, in an airtight container, up to 3 days!!
