Wonton Churros #shorts
Wonton Churros ???????? crispy sweet snack that comes together in under 5 minutes. It satisfies that sweet and fry moments in your innermost parts. ????????????
Healthy, happy, delicious and fun
Ingredients:
Wonton wrappers
Sugar
Cinnamon
Coconut refined oil to fry
sugar to cinnamon ratio - 3tbsp to 1tsp that is 3 tbsp sugar to 1 tsp cinnamon.
Method:
Pour enough oil to deep fry the wonton wrappers into a cast iron pan over medium-high heat. Using a heat thermometer, allow the oil temp to rise to about 325°. This allows the wrappers to fry quick and for the wrappers not to absorb much oil.
As the oil is being heated, cut the wonton wrappers into strips.
Mix the sugar and cinnamon.
Fry the wonton, until golden brown for about 20 seconds. Remove and place on a plate with paper towels to absorb the oil.
Gently add the wonton into the cinnamon mixture, and coat the wontons liberally.
Store the remainder in an airtight container for snacking during the week.
Enjoy!????????

Sweet Fried wontons | Easy Dates Wontons with Samosa Sheets- Ramadan Special Snacks 2020
Hello, there today I am here with a crispy sweet snack recipe. Sweet fried wontons with dates filling is a perfect snack for Ramadan iftar snacks. You can make this wonton with any other fillings. I promise this is a super yummy snack and you must try this at home... Normally wontons are doing with a wonton wrapper but here I have used samosa sheets.
Wonton is a type of Chinese dumpling. They come in small parcels and are available in many forms: steamed, deep-fried, r in wonton soup. Wontons are commonly boiled and served in soup or sometimes deep-fried. There are several common regional variations of shape.
The most versatile shape is a simple right triangle, made by folding the square wrapper in half by pulling together two diagonally opposite corners.

Date-Filled Wontons
8 ozs, 230g, pitted dates (about 1⅓ cups)
½ cup, 62g, walnuts
⅓ cup, 73g, white sugar
¼ cup, 59ml, water
2 tbsps, 30ml, lemon juice
½ tsp, 3ml, pure vanilla extract
pinch kosher salt
wonton wrappers
canola oil, for frying
Process the dates and walnuts in a food processor until they are small pieces. Heat the dates, walnuts, sugar, water and lemon juice in a small saucepan over medium heat until the filling is thick and beings to bubble, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla. Let cool to room temp, about 20 minutes.
Lay out wonton wrappers in a single layer and place 1 teaspoon of filling off center. Starting with a point, roll the wrapper around the filling, sealing the point with a bit of water. Use water to seal the ends closed.
Fry the wontons in about an inch of canola heated to 365°F, 185°C for 2-3 minutes or until they are nicely brown. Drain and serve slightly warm dusted with powdered sugar.
