This Pork Chops in Creamy Mushroom sauce will simply melt in your mouth! Delicious!
Easy, delicious dinner in no time and effort, pork chops in mushroom sauce!
Top quality Dutch oven:
Recipe: - 4 pork chops about an inch/2,5cm thick - Salt, pepper and smoked paprika to season the chops - 1 onion - 2-3 garlic cloves - 1lbs/450g mushrooms - 2-3 sprigs fresh thyme - 1 cup heavy cream - 1 cup chicken sauce - 1,5 tablespoons Dijon mustard - 1 teaspoon dry oregano - 0,7 cup/70g parmesan cheese - Salt and pepper for seasoning - Vegetable oil to saute the mushrooms
Saute the mushrooms for 2-3 minutes and then add the onions and cook for 2-3 more minutes until the mushrooms are golden and all the liquid has evaporated, add the garlic and saute for 1-2 more minutes. Place the pork chops in and finish in a preheated oven 356F/180C for 15 minutes with the lid on and then 15 minutes without the lid. I like to thicken the sauce at the end with 1 or 2 teaspoons corn starch mixed with water. Served with mashed potatoes with bacon bits on top and mixed cabbage salat.
