How To make Crockpot Orange Honey Chicken

chicken breasts, boneless, skinless, frozen
1/2
cup
orange juice
1/2
cup
chicken broth
1/4
cup
honey
1
tablespoon
dry mustard
1
tablespoon
teryiaki sauce
1
cup
broccoli florets
1
cup
cauliflower florets
1
cup
carrot, peeled, sliced
Directions:
Place frozen breasts in crockpot. Mix juice, broth, honey, dry mustard and teryiaki sauce. Pour over chicken in crock. Cook on low for 4 hours. Add vegetables about one hour before serving. Place on TOP of chicken and do not stir. Cook the additional hour and serve over rice.
Note: If using non-frozen chicken breasts, you should subtract at least one hour from cooking time.

Crockpot Orange Chicken
Ingredients:
Chicken Thighs or Breast
Honey BBQ sauce
Orange Marmalade
Soy sauce
Ginger
Minced Garlic
Salt/Pepper
Directions:
Clean chicken and trim excess fat if needed
Cut chicken into 3/4” to 1” chunks
Mix together the following in a large bowl:
3/4 Cup Honey BBQ sauce
3/4 Cup Orange Marmalade
1TBS Soy sauce
1 TSP Ginger
2 TSP Minced Garlic
Once mixed sit aside
Add chicken to crockpot
Season chicken with salt and pepper
Pour sauce over chicken
Cook on High for 3 hours
After 3 hours mix chicken
To thicken the sauce Make a slurry with cornstarch and water and mix until combined
1 TBS each
Add slurry to crockpot
Mix into crockpot and sauce will start to thicken
Serve and Enjoy!

Sweet & Sticky Slow Cooker Orange Chicken
This video goes through the steps to making a sweet and sticky slow cooker orange chicken. It’s a super easy dish that goes perfect with some rice or noodle.

One thing that you should be aware of when you’re cooking this dish is that it will not be crispy. If you want crispy orange chicken then I recommend that you cook it in a frypan and not a slow cooker.
Leftovers will keep in the fridge for a few days before needing to be discarded. You can also freeze the chicken but keep in mind it might become really dry and not very nice to eat once you reheat it.
If you need a list of ingredients then you can find one right below.
• 500g Chicken Breasts, cubed
• 1 tsp. garlic, crushed
• 1 tsp. ginger, minced
• ½ cup sweet orange marmalade
• ½ cup BBQ Sauce
• 2 Tbsp. Teriyaki sauce
To thicken (Maybe)
• 1 Tbsp. corn-starch
• 1 Tbsp. water
This recipe doesn’t require any vegetables to be added but that doesn’t mean you can’t add any. Bell pepper, onion, carrot, bean shoots are just some of the vegetables that you’re able to add. Keep in mind some of the vegetable cooking times are shorter than others.
Shredding the chicken is perfect if you want to get the chicken as moist and flavoursome as possible. This is also great if you accidently overcooked the chicken and need to get rid of that dry rubbery taste.
Swapping the BBQ sauce is a great way to change this recipe. Using a different type such as a smokier sauce will give a much different flavour.
