Maryland Crab Burger Recipe | Episode 162
As I make my 50 States of Burgers I have to think either what is a well known cuisine/food for that state or what could possibly represent that state in some way. In doing my research Maryland always came up with a crab dish so that's the direction I decided to go with. There is a little bit that goes into this burger but it is 100% worth the work that goes into it! Crab Burgers ????????
What do you do with Seafood Boil crab leftovers? We decided to make crab patties for Crab Burgers. ????????♀️????????
Crab Burgers ????????
Ingredients:
Mayonnaise 1 cup
Shredded crab 1/2 lb.
Bread crumbs 1 cup (I used Panko. You can use any bread crumbs or saltines)
Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp
1 egg
1 teaspoon of butter
2 tablespoons of oil
Lemon juice 1/4 cup
1 tsp parsley
Sprinkle of black pepper
Sprinkle of cayenne pepper
Sprinkle of granulated garlic
Sprinkle of granulated onion
Add all of your ingredients to a bowl and mix well. Now form into patties. You can refrigerate before you make the patties for about 20-30 min to let them get firmer. I didn’t. I made the patties when I was done mixing. Once the patties are made, add your butter and oil to a pan and let it melt and get hot on medium heat. Now place the patties in the pan and let them brown on each side. Once they are pretty browned on one side, go ahead and flip them. It’s about 8-10 min on each side. Once they are cooked, place them on a plate and let cool for a few minutes. Once they are a little cool, start dressing your buns and add all your favorite fixings to your burger and ENJOY! Happy Eatz Everyone!!! ????????????????
