????CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH INGREDIENTS:
►2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter, softened
►1/2 cup granulated sugar
►1 cup light brown sugar (tightly packed)
►2 large eggs at room temperature
►2 tsp vanilla extract
►3 cups all-purpose flour (375 grams),
►1 tsp baking soda
►1 tsp salt
►2 cups (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
note: Recipe updated May 2020. We found the cookies to work best with 1 tsp baking soda instead and 1 tsp salt.

Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie! (for one)
The only thing that's better than a chocolate chip cookie is a GIANT chocolate chip cookie! This cookie is crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and is loaded with gooey pockets of chocolate! It's the ideal cookie! RECIPE DOWN BELOW:
Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie (for one)
By: The Corrigan Sisters
Serves: 1 (or 2)
Calories: 600
INGREDIENTS:
-2 Tbsp. melted butter
-2 Tbsp. white sugar
-1 Tbsp. brown sugar, packed
-a splash of vanilla extract
-2 tsp. of a whisked egg
-1/4 cup all-purpose flour
-a pinch of baking soda
-a pinch of salt
-1 oz. of chopped semi-sweet chocolate
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a small bowl, add in 2 Tbsp. melted butter, 2 Tbsp. white sugar, 1 Tbsp. brown sugar, and a splash of vanilla extract. Then mix in 2 tsp. of a whisked egg.
3. To the same bowl mix in 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, a pinch of baking soda, and a pinch of salt.
4. Once the dough has come together, mix in 1 oz. of chopped semi-sweet chocolate.
5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 5 minutes. Then remove from the oven and bang it on the counter a few times, then put it back into the oven and let it bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.
6. Let cool on the pan a few minutes before enjoying!

They’re super quick and easy to make. They have a subtle chocolate and vanilla taste and they’re packed with milk and white chocolate chips ????

All you need is:
115g unsalted butter, melted
150g light brown sugar
115g granulated sugar
1 large egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
Strong red food colouring (I used Sugarflair Red Extra)
170g plain flour
10g cocoa powder
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1/2 tsp salt
100g white chocolate chips
75g milk or dark chocolate chips
Makes about 20-23 cookies
Bake 160C (fan) 8-10 minutes - allow to cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack

What makes the best chocolate chip cookies? In Claire’s opinion, it’s a chewy edge, soft and chewy center, puddles of chocolate (in this case, dark and milk), a healthy amount of salt, and, crucially, lots of butterscotch-y flavor from the interplay of vanilla, brown sugar, and brown butter. That might sound like a lot, but it all comes together easily in a couple of bowls, no stand mixer required. The hardest part is definitely waiting for the dough to chill in the fridge before baking.

2 tablespoons heavy cream, half-and-half, or whole milk (1 oz / 28g)
2 cups all-purpose flour (9.2 oz / 260g)
2 teaspoons Diamond Crystal kosher salt (0.22 oz / 6g)
1 teaspoon baking soda (0.21 oz / 6g)
3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar (5.3 oz / 150g)

5 ounces (142g) bittersweet chocolate disks, half coarsely chopped
