How To make Chinese Beef and Beans
1 lb Round steak
1 Envelope French's brown
Gravy mix 1 tb Soy sauce
1 ts Sugar
1/8 ts Ground ginger
3 tb Salad oil
1 pk Frozen French style green
Beans 10 oz. 2/3 c Water
Slice steak diagonally into thin strips. Combine contents of gravy mix, soy sauce, sugar and ginger. Pour over meat; toss to cover; Heat 1/2 of the oil in a large skillet. Add green beans and cook, stirring, 5 minutes until tender and crisp. Remove from pan. Heat remaining oil in same pan. Add steak. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring until brown. Add beans and water. Cook, stirring until heated. Serve over hot rice. Randy Rigg

Recipe:
1/3 lbs. thinly sliced beef (tritip works)
1/2 tablespoon corn starch
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1.5 tablespoons oyster sauce
1.5 lbs green beans
Mix beef and marinate ingredients well, set aside in fridge to marinate up to 1hr.
In hot pan/pot add a little olive oil and the green beans. Season with some garlic salt and pepper. At high heat cover and let green beans stir fry/sear. You want to put a good sear on the beans letting them blister. let it go for at least 2-5min, then stir them up and repeat. You want to char them a bit, it will give them a nice restaurant flavor. Remove and to a bowl.
Add a little more olive oil to the pan and stir fry the marinated beef. This should be very fast, using a wooden spoon or chop sticks seperate the beef so they lay flat on the pan's hot surface, flip them over to cook evenly. Let them sear for a bit on each side until everything is browned. Return the green beans to finish off. Plate up and serve with some rice!

2 Tbsp toban dang (Chinese Chili Bean Sauce)
2 Tbsp oyster sauce or vegetarian oyster sauce
1 tsp sugar
For Stir Fry
1 Tbsp cooking oil (only if you are using center cut bacon)
6 slices of thick center cut or 4 slices of thick cut bacon, cut into bite sizes
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 small shallot, chopped (You can substitute to 1/4 of small onion)
1 lb long beans, cut into 2-inches long (You can substitute to green beans)

I can assure you that the taste is utterly different from blanching, sautéing or green beans for a salad.
