INGREDIENTS
2 and half to 3 lbs Chicken (I used 4 chicken drumstick 3 chicken thighs)
1/4 cup olive oil
2 Tablespoon Salted butter
1 Tablespoon dijon mustard
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons dried thyme
1 and 1/2 Tablespoon brown sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 of a mandarine or 2 Tbs orange juice
7 medium potatoes
Olive oil ( To drizzle on potatoes
1 small onion Sliced
2 sprigs of fresh rosemary
Handful of freshly chopped parsley

With this braised Chicken and Potatoes in Creamy Garlic Sauce, weeknight dinners are sure to feel like a treat..Hope you enjoy it :)
Edit: A little note that I missed in the video; please place your dish in the middle of your oven uncovered at 190C for 35 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked through and the chicken is fork tender :) Braising it uncovered will leave you with the crispiest chicken skin and potatoes you could ever imagine in a braised dish.. INGREDIENTS (SERVES 3-4) ►
5-6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs; you could use legs or breasts instead
1/4 tsp of salt
Ground black pepper to taste
3-4 tbsp of all-purpose flour
5-6 baby potatoes, halved lengthwise; feel free to omit to make it low-carb
2 tbsp of oil
4 shallots or 1 white onion; chopped
15 cloves of garlic, lightly crushed to release the flavour
A few sprigs of thyme and rosemary
300 ml warm stock; I like chicken stock, vegetable stock is great as well
1 tbsp of mustard; I like dijon mustard here
1 tsp to 1 tbsp of honey
1/2 cup of double cream
Parsley or/and chives, minced for garnish (optional)

Our first apartment in Paris was a few steps away from rue Montorgueil, one of Paris’ permanent market streets. You can find everything you need on this street: cafés, bistros, fromagerie, wine shops, fish stalls, boucheries, etc. When you pass by these boucheries, your nostrils will immediately get a whiff of the aroma of chicken roasting along the sidewalk. Dozens of birds with their glorious drippings drizzling over a bucket of potatoes as the oven interior circumrotates. Succulent and flavorful are the words that best describes it. I want to share with you my recipe for Poulet Rôti (French Roast Chicken) so you can enjoy it in the comfort of your own home.
Ingredients:
1 whole chicken
1 head garlic
1/2 lemon
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 tbsp. salt, coarse
black pepper
bunch of rosemary & thyme
6 pcs. potatoes, medium

Ingredients:
4-5 Potatoes, quartered
2 lb. (900g) chicken thighs and legs, bone in and skin on
1 large onion, cut into large chunks
5-6 tablespoons olive oil, divided
5-6 garlic cloves, unpeeled
1 teaspoon dried oregano
fresh Rosemary
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1½ teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Salt OR to taste
1 teaspoon Black pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon Cumin
Directions
1. In a large bowl mix olive oil and all the spices. Place chicken in the bowl and mix until well coated. Cover the bowl and marinate for at least 1 hour.
2. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Prepare a large baking pan or baking sheet. Set aside.
3. Cut potatoes into quarters. Place in a large bowl, add salt, rosemary and olive oil, toss all together.
4. Spread the potatoes in the pan, add marinated chicken, whole garlic cloves (with the peel), onion chunks and few more rosemary branches.
5. Roast for about 1 hour, until chicken is fully cooked and potatoes are golden brown.
