How To make Chicken Cacciatore(Electric Skillet)
6 Boneless, skinless chicken
-breast halves (about 1 1/2 pounds) 1/3 c All-purpose flour
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
1/4 c Oil
1 lg Onion, sliced and separated
-into rings 1 lg Green pepper, cut into
-strips 1/2 lb Fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 Cloves garlic, minced
3 cn Italian tomatoes (14 1/2 Oz,
-each), undrained 1 t Dried oregano leaves
1/2 ts Dried basil leaves
Hot cooked spaghetti
Preheat 12-inch electric skillet to 350F. Combine flour, salt and pepper; dredge chicken. Add 2 tablespoons oil to skillet; saute chicken for 4 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Remove chicken and set aside. Add remaining oil to skillet; saute onion and the next 3 ingredients until onions are translucent, about 4 minutes. Stir in tomatoes and spices, breaking up tomatoes with spoon. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to 225 F and simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes stirring occasionally. Add the chicken; cook for 15 minutes longer until chicken is done. Serve over hot cooked spaghetti. Serves 4 to 6. Posted by Fred Peters.

Chicken Cacciatore
This is our version of the classic Italian chicken stew. I think the flavor is best when using bone-in chicken, but use boneless if you prefer. It's all done in one pot and needs to simmer for an hour to insure the chicken is nice and tender. Wonderful served over a big platter of pasta!

Ein Rezept für ein Abendessen in einer Pfanne, so lecker, dass ich es sehr oft koche. Das ist das Lieblingsrezept meiner Familie. Für dieses Rezept kann jede Hühnchenportion verwendet werden, ändern Sie einfach die Garzeit im Ofen. Kochen Sie ein köstliches Abendessen in einer Pfanne, Hühnchen mit Kartoffeln, Karotten in Honig und Knoblauchsauce hat noch nie so gut geschmeckt. Dieses leckere Rezept wird Ihnen bestimmt gefallen. Viel Spaß beim Kochen!
Zutaten:
5 Hähnchenschenkel
1 TL Oregano
Salz
Schwarzer Pfeffer
4-5 Kartoffeln
12 Babykarotten
2 EL Olivenöl
1 EL Butter
1 Zwiebel
4 große Knoblauchzehen
Handvoll Petersilie
Ofenfeste Pfanne
90 ml Honig
100 ml süße Chilisauce
2 EL Zitronensaft
3 EL Sojasauce
2 EL Zitronensaft
3/4 EL Dijon-Senf
Backofen auf 200 °C vorheizen
25-35 Minuten bei 200°C, Ober-/Unterhitze kochen
Salat:
1 Gurke
100g Salat (Ich empfehle auch die Zugabe von Basilikum)
125g Mozzarella
1 Avocado
200g Kirschtomaten
Saft von 1/3 Zitrone
Salz nach Geschmack
Schwarzer Pfeffer
Olivenöl

Skillet Chicken Cacciatore!
Chicken Cacciatore is an Italian comfort food and I love making it in my iron skillet because it is so quick and easy. This dish can be served with any pasta or rice of your preference. My favorite way to serve it is with Potato Gnocchi! As always I hope you give this recipe a try, and I am sure it will become a favorite.
Chicken Cacciatore
Ingredients
6 boneless skinless chicken thighs (you can use chicken breasts or tenderloin also)
2 strips of bacon
1 cup of diced onion
1 cup of chopped carrot
1/2 cup of chopped celery
2 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp of flour
2 to 3 tbsp of tomato paste
1/2 cup of white wine
2 cups of chicken broth
1 can of diced or stewed tomatoes
1 tsp of dried basil
1 tsp of dried oregano
1 tsp of dried thyme
1 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of pepper
Instruction
1. Cut bacon into pieces and cook in large skillet until crisp. Remove bacon from skillet and add the chicken that has been seasoned with salt and pepper. Allow the chicken to cook a couple minutes on each side then remove chicken and place it on a plate.
2. Add the onion, carrots, and celery to the skillet and cook until the vegetables begin to soften, then add the garlic, flour, and tomato paste.
3. Add the wine, chicken broth, and tomatoes, stirring until everything is mixed completely.
4. Add the chicken back to the sauce, then cover and place in a 350 degree oven for 30 to 45 minutes until chicken is tender and sauce has thickened. (if the sauce seems to thin you can add more tomato paste)
5. Serve over pasta or rice. Eat and Enjoy!
