How To make Cheesy Pepper &Amp; Mushroom Pizza
1 1/2 c Flour (or a little less)
1/2 ts Sugar
3/4 c Lo-fat Cottage cheese,draine
Egg 1 ts Dried Basil, crushed
Med Green / Sweet Red Pepper 1 c Shredded Mozzarella Cheese *
1 pk Active dry Yeast
1 ts Cooking oil
1 tb Cornmeal
2 tb Grated Parmesan Cheese
Clove Garlic, minced 1 c Sliced fresh Mushrooms
* part-skim For crust, mix 3/4 cup of the flour, the yeast, sugar, and 1/4 t salt. Add oil and 1/2 cup warm water (120-130 deg). Beat with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds, scraping the bowl. Beat on high speed 3
minutes. Stir in as much of the remaining flour as you can. Then, knead in enough remaining flour to make a moderately stiff dough that is smooth and elastic (5 minutes total). Shape into a ball. Place in a greased bowl; turn once. Cover; let rise in a warm place till double (about 30 minutes). Punch down. Cover; let rest 10 minutes.
On a floured surface roll dough into a 14" circle. Place on a pizza pan sprayed with Pam and sprinkled with the cornmeal. Build up edges slightly. Bake crust in 425 deg F oven about 10 minutes or lightly browned. In a blender combine cottage cheese, egg, Parmesan cheese, basil, garlic, and 1/8 t pepper. Cover; blend till smooth. Spread over hot crust. Cut green pepper into rings. Place atop pizza with mushrooms. Sprinkle with Mozzarella. Pizza Ingredients :
Pizza Bread 3
Mushrooms (sliced vertically half) 250 grams
Corns 1 small bowl
Pizza Sauce FunFoods by Dr. Oetker 2-3 tbsp
Onions Sliced 1
Red – Yellow – Green Bell Pepper (Capsicum) Sliced 1/2 each
Red Chili Flakes For Seasoning
Oregano For Seasoning
Italian Seasoning (Optional) For Seasoning
Pizza Cheese Grated/Shreds
Butter To Bake 1 tbsp
Pizza Mushroom Marination Ingredients:
Mushrooms 250 grams
Ginger Paste 1 tsp
Garlic Paste 1 tsp
Coriander Powder 1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder 1 tsp
Kashmiri Red Chili Powder 1 tsp
Cornflour 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp/As Per Taste
How To Marinate the Mushrooms:
Mix all the listed ingredients above in a bowl with the mushrooms. Mix & Marinade. Set aside 30 minutes.
In a heated pan, add vegetable oil and fry the marinated mushrooms until the water releases and dries off over high flame for 20-25 minutes. Once done, set aside.
How To Make Veg Mushroom Pizza:
Step 1: Apply 2-3 tbsp pizza sauce evenly over the pizza bread. Slice rectangle pieces of Cheese slices and place the cheddar cheese slices over the bread (If you don’t have cheese slices, grate them over). Grate Mozzarella Cheese and add the fried mushroom pieces evenly over the bread.
Step 2: Now add 10-12 corn pieces , chopped Onions and Bell Pepper over the bread. Spread well till its fully covered.
Step 3: Grate Pizza cheese, red chili flakes, oregano and Italian seasoning (optional).
Step 4: Add 1 tbsp butter in a pan and place the mushroom pizza and cover the pan over low medium flame, bake for 7-8 minutes approx. till the cheese melts and the bread is well cooked. Check in between to avoid over burning the bread bottom.
Step 5: Cut the pizza with a pizza cutter and serve hot with ketchup.
