Asian FRIED CABBAGE AND GROUND BEEF. Dinner In 25 Minutes! Recipe by Always Yummy!
Fried, note not braised one, cabbage with ground beef is unusual and very tasty. This dish is cooked in 25 minutes only. The thing is to not cover a pan with lid, it is important, and don’t forget to stir. Cabbage then comes out a little crispy and fried and it gives a dish unique peculiarity. And of course there is some «secret» sauce, it is easy cooked – watch in our video recipe.

✅ Ingredients:
• ground beef – 14 oz | 400 g
• white cabbage – 1,5 lb | 700 g
• carrot – 3 oz | 180 g
• minced ginger – 1 tbsp
• scallion – 3 stems
• garlic – 2 cloves
• vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
• salt – 1 tsp
• ground black pepper – ½ tsp
• soy sauce – 4 tbsp
• sesame oil – 1 tbsp
• brown sugar – 1 tbsp
• chili sauce – 1 tbsp
• sesame seeds – 1 tbsp
✅ You will need:
• carving board
• grater or cabbage shredder
• bowl
• pan
???? Preparation:
1. Shred the cabbage and carrot thinly, mince the ginger and garlic.
2. Combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, chili sauce and brown sugar in a bowl.
3. Heat a pan with the vegetable oil, add the ground meat and fry for 2 minutes over medium heat, add then the garlic, ginger, salt and black pepper to taste. Fry over medium heat for another 3 minutes.
4. Add the cabbage and carrot and keep frying over low heat for 10 minutes until the cabbage sinks in the pan. If you want softer cabbage then cover with a lid and fry a bit longer to your taste.
5. Add the prepared sauce to the cabbage and stir well, switch the heat off. Sprinkle your fried cabbage and beef with the sesame seeds and chopped scallion.

???? Ingredients:
• ground beef – 1,3 lb | 600 g
• white cabbage – 1,8 lb | 800 g
• rice – 3 oz | 100 g
• chopped tomatoes – 1,1 lb | 500 g
• tomato paste – 2 tbsp
• water – 3 cup | 700 ml
• onion – 3 oz | 100 g
• garlic – 3 cloves
• cooking oil – 1,5 tbsp
• dried thyme – 1 tsp
• dried oregano – 1 tsp
• ground black pepper – to taste
• salt – to taste
✔︎ You will need:
• pan
• carving board
???? Preparation:
1. Wash the rice thoroughly, chop onion and garlic, cut the white cabbage into slices.
2. Heat a pan with the cooking oil, add the onion and fry for 2-3 minutes over medium heat.
3. Add the ground beef and fry for 7-8 minutes over medium heat stirring and crushing into smaller pieces.
4. As soon as the juice evaporates and minced beef becomes golden brown reduce the heat to low, add the garlic, 1 tsp of thyme and oregano each, salt and pepper to taste, stir well and fry for a minute.
5. Add the tomato paste and stir well.
6. Add the cabbage, stir, cover with a lid and cook for 10 minutes.
7. Add the chopped tomatoes, rice and water, stir well, bring to a boil, reduce the heat to minimum, cover with the lid and simmer for 20 minutes.
8. Take the lid off, stir well, salt to taste and cook for 20 minutes more with the lid covered stirring occasionally.
9. Serve the cabbage with rice and mince hot, to your taste drizzle with sour cream and sprinkle with chopped up greens.
❗️Advices:
1. You can replace water with meat, chicken, vegetable, or mushroom broth.
2. For a creamy flavor, you can add sour cream or cream cheese while cooking or when serving.
3. Use spices and salt according to taste.

Mexican Style Cabbage and Ground Beef Caserole:
Ingredients:
Purple Cabbage
Cilantro
1 Onion
1 Red Bell Pepper
1 Can of Petite Diced Tomatoes
2lbs Ground Beef
2 packets of Taco Seasoning
I bag of 2% Cheese
Steps:
1. Preheat Oven to 350 and grease baking dish
2. Brown Ground Beef, diced onions and red bell pepper in a pan
3. In a separate pan add 1 inch of water and cabbage, bring to boil and then simmer, cover (stirring occasionally) for 10 minutes until cabbage is the texture you like.
4. While ground beef is still slightly red drain the grease and add cilantro, petite diced tomatoes (drained) and 1 1/2 - 2 packets of Taco Seasoning (depending on your preference)
5.When cabbage is the texture you like, drain it and create a layer on the bottom of your casserole dish.
6. Then add your ground beef mixture to the top
7. Put in the oven for 20 minutes
8. Take out of the oven, add cheese to the top and return to oven for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
This was the original recipe I started with. So Delicious, but I wanted to try a Mexican Version. You could probably also create an Italian Version.

Potato and cabbage casserole is a perfect dish for dinner or supper. It comes out tender and hearty.

✅ Ingredients:
• cabbage – 14 oz | 400 g
• potato – 1 lb | 450 g
• vegetable oil – 4 tbsp
• onion – 5 oz | 150 g
• carrot – 4,5 oz | 130 g
• 1 bell pepper
• 1 red chili pepper
• red chili flakes – 1 tsp
• ground black pepper – 1 tsp
• salt – 1 tsp
• cheddar cheese – 7 oz | 200 g
Sauce:
• 3 eggs
• milk – ⅔ cup | 170 ml
• sour cream – 6 oz | 170 g
• vegetable oil – 3 tbsp
• fresh parsley – ⅓ oz | 10 g
• all-purpose flour – 4 tbsp
• baking powder – ⅓ oz | 10 g
• salt – 1 tsp
✔︎ You will need:
• oven
• baking dish 9,5*14*2 in | 24*35*5 cm
• pan with a lid
• cutting board
???? Preparation:
1. Cut the potato, onion and bell pepper into small dices, the white cabbage and carrot into thin strips and chop up the parsley.
2. Heat a pan with 3 tbsp of vegetable oil, add the onion and fry for 5 minutes over medium heat.
3. Add the potato, stir, cover with a lid and fry over low heat for 5 minutes.
4. Then add the white cabbage, carrot, bell and chili pepper, cover with the lid and simmer for 5 minutes over low heat stirring occasionally.
5. Add the ground black pepper, red chili flakes and salt, stir, cover the lid and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.
6. Cool down the fried veggies.
7. In a bowl whish 3 eggs, add the milk, sour cream, salt and vegetable oil and stir. Add the flour and baking powder, stir well with the whisk until smooth, add the chopped-up parsley and stir.
8. Brush a baking dish with 1 tbsp of vegetable oil and lay out the fried veggies, add the sauce, combine and spread evenly within the dish.
9. Bake for 25 minutes at 350°F / 180°C.
10. Sprinkle with the grated cheese and bake for another 5 minutes at 350°F / 180°C.
11. Serve the potato and cabbage casserole hot.
❗️Advices:
1. Cheddar can be changed for mozzarella.
2. Add any veggies to your taste to casserole.
3. Serve with sour cream and favorite sauces
