Stir, cover, and simmer till water is absorbed (5 to 10 minutes). Add remaining ingredients. Shape into patties on hot, oiled griddle. Brown on both sides. Bulgur is an edible cereal grain made from dried, cracked wheat. When cooked, it has a similar consistency to couscous or quinoa. Bulgur is a whole wheat grain and it contains gluten. It has a nutty flavour and can be served as a side dish.
The ingredients you'll need to cook Bulgar Wheat.
Bulgur Salt Paprika Olive oil Water
In a pan or a pot place washed and strained 2 cups bulgur 1 tsp salt 1 tsp paprika 2 tbsp olive oil 1½ cups of water
Mix all together and cook on a low or medium heat for about 15 to 20 minutes.
We had it with a cabbage dish that I made from a leftover cabbage.
