Ingredients:
-Pakola Full Cream Milk warm ½ Cup
-Water warm ½ Cup
-Sugar ½ tbs
-Khameer (Instant yeast) 2 & ½ tsp
-Maida (All-purpose flour) total 3 Cups
-Milk powder 2 & ½ tbs
-Namak (Salt) ½ tsp
-Bareek cheeni (Caster sugar) 1 tbs
-Anda (Egg) 1 (room temperature)
-Olive oil 2 tbs
-Olive oil 1 tbs
-Olive oil 1 tsp
-Pakola Full Cream Milk
-Makhan (Butter)
Directions:
-In a jug,add milk,water,sugar,instant yeast & mix well,cover & let it rest for 10 minutes.
-In a bowl,add all-purpose flour (at this point,add 1 cup of flour,remaining flour will be added gradually during kneading process),milk powder,salt,caster sugar & mix well.
-Now add dissolved yeast mixture,egg & whisk well for 5-6 minutes.
-Add half quantity of all-purpose flour & whisk well.
-Add olive oil and mix well.
-Add all-purpose flour & gather all the dough.
-Transfer dough to a clean working surface & knead the dough for 4-5 minutes.
-If needed,dust dry flour or add olive oil and knead until smooth dough is formed.
-Grease dough with olive oil,cover & let it proof for 1 hour (warm place).
-Grease 4 x 8” loaf pan with cooking oil & set aside.
-Knead dough again,roll out with the help of rolling pin and fold according to pan size.
-Place dough in greased pan,cover with cling wrap & let it proof for 30 minutes.
-Now apply milk with the help of brush & bake in preheated oven at 170C for 25 minutes.
-After baking,apply butter on top & cover with kitchen towel & let it rest for 10 minutes.
-Cut into desired slices & serve!

-Bowl mein maida (is point per 1 cup maida shamil karein,remaining flour ko thora thora ker ka ghontay hoye shamil kertay rahein),milk powder,namak aur bareek cheeni dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Ab dissolved yeast mixture aur anda dal dein aur 5-6 minutes kliya ache tarhan whisk ker lein.
-Maida ki half quantity shamil karein aur ache tarhan whisk ker lein.
-Olive oil dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
-Maida dal dein aur dough ko gather ker lein.
-Clean working surface per dough ko transfer ker lein aur 4-5 minutes kliya dough ko dubara ghond lein.
-Agar zaroorat ho tou maida aur olive oil dal ker dough ko smooth hunay tak dubara ghond lein.
-Dough ko olive oil sa grease karein aur dhak ker 1 hour proof hunay kliya garam jagha per rakh dein.
-4 x 8” loaf pan ko cooking oil sa grease karein & side per rakh dein.
-Dough ko dubara ghond lein aur rolling pin ki madad sa bail lein aur pan size ka mutabiq fold ker lein.
-Dough ko greased pan mein rakh dein aur cling film sa cover ker lein aur 30 minutes kliya proof ker lein.
-Bread per doodh laga lein aur preheated oven mein 170C per 25 minutes kliya bake ker lein.
-Baking ka bad bread ka top per makhan laga lein aur kitchen towel sa dhak ker 10 minutes liya rakh dein.
-Desired slice mein cut ker ka serve karein!

EASY BREAD RECIPE:
1 1/3 cup warm water (100-110*F)
2 teaspoons active, dry yeast
2 teaspoons brown sugar or honey
1 egg
1 teaspoon fine sea salt
3 to 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
In a large mixing bowl, combine the water, yeast, and sugar.
Stir until dissolved, then add in the egg and salt.
Add the flour one cup at a time. Once the mixture is too stiff to mix with a fork, transferred it to a well-floured countertop.
Knead for 4-5 minutes, or until smooth and elastic. Add more flour if the dough is continues to stick to your hands.
Shape the smooth dough into a ball and place in a bowl. Cover with a dish cloth and let rise in a warm place for one hour (or until the dough has doubled).
Grease a standard-sized loaf pan (9x5). After the first rise is complete, punch down the dough and shape it into a log. Place it into the loaf pan and allow to rise 20-30 more minutes, or until it starts to peek over the edge of the pan. Bake in a 350* oven for 25-30 minutes, or until lightly browned.

Traditional white bread is usually made from bread flour because it is higher in gluten. I don’t buy much of it myself and I figured a lot of you are on the same boat. When I make my bread I use all purpose flour and it works amazing. So, if bread flour is keeping you from making your own bread turn on the oven and put on your apron. White bread recipe
Oven temperature: 375F degrees
Bake time: 22-25 min or until golden brown (internal temperature of 190F)
Water milk temperature for yeast: 105F-110F
One 9x5 loaf pan
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1.Mix and knead on medium low speed only.
2. If dough is still sticking after one minute of kneading, add additional flour one TBSP at a time until the right consistency is achieved. It should feel lightly sticky when pressed and smooth.
3. Dough should proof just until doubled in size both times.
1/8 of cup warm water (28g)
1 cup of warm milk (226g)
2 tsp active dry yeast (7g)
1 TBSP sugar + a pinch (12g + a pinch)
1 TBSP unsalted butter, melted (13g)
2 TBSP softened room temperature unsalted butter (30g)
1 1/2 tsp salt (8g)
2 1/4 cup All purpose flour + 3 TBS (359g)
Spray for greasing bowl & plastic wrap
Important: If your bread is not golden brown and has not reached an internal temperature of 190F degrees. Let it bake longer. The time the bread bakes may vary depending on your oven.

1 cup milk 237ml (please use warm milk, evap, or fresh or UHT milk)
½ cup unsalted butter (110g)
1 large egg
3½ cup all purpose flour (437g)
¼ cup sugar (50g)
1 tsp salt (5g)
2 tbsp oil for bowl
Eggwash
1 egg and 1 tbsp milk

All of these loaves are beginner friendly and with a few small variations on shaping and baking, you're left with a rustic, crusty, bread worthy of your dinner table. No mixer or sourdough starter required.

****TO MY FRIENDS IN EUROPE/UK: The all purpose flour that i typically use is King Arthur which is about 11.7% protein. Your All Purpose flour may be different than what's available in the US. If in doubt, choose a flour that has between 11-12% protein and you should be in good shape!
ALSO if you have never made bread before, this dough is 78% hydration and will be slightly sicky. Use 75 less grams water in the final dough and it will be much easier to handle.
PREFERMENT (POOLISH)
150g or ROUGHLY 1 C. AP FLOUR
150g or ROUGHLY 2/3C. WATER (ROOM TEMP)
1 small pinch YEAST
- let the poolish ripen on counter 4-24 hours, preferably at least 16
DOUGH
280g or 1 1/4C.WATER (98F)
2g or 1/2 TSP YEAST
ALL OF THE POOLISH
350g or 2 1/4 C. AP FLOUR
50g or ROUGHLY 1/3 C. WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR
10g or roughly 1.5 TSP KOSHER SALT
BAKING TIMES/ TEMPS
METHOD 1: 525 the whole time for 14-18 minutes (spray loaf for steam)
METHOD 2- Preheat Dutch Oven at 500 for 30-40 minutes, bake at 500 covered for 12min and 485 uncovered for additional 8-12 depending on oven and desired color.
METHOD 3: Preheat Dutch Oven at 485-500 for 30-40 minutes, bake at 485 covered for 18 minutes, and 485 uncovered for additional 25-30 depending on oven and desired color.
