How To make Bread (Master Recipe)
1 Cake compressed yeast 1 tb Melted shortening
OR 1/2 cake dry yeast 1 1/2 c Lukewarm water 1 tb Sugar 5 To 5 1/4 cups flour
1 1/2 ts Salt
Soften yeast in water. Add sugar, salt, and shortening. Add flour gradually, beating thoroughly after each addition until the dough is just stiff enough to knead. Turn onto lightly floured board. Knead until dough is smooth and elastic. Cover with a warm, damp cloth. Set in warm place and allow to double in bulk. (If dry yeast is used allow dough to rise overnight in warm place.) Work down, cover with a warm, damp cloth, and allow dough to again double in bulk. Work down lightly. Form into loaves. Place in well-oiled pans. Again cover with a warm, damp cloth. Set in a warm place, cover, and let rise until double in bulk. Bake in hot oven (450 F) for 15 minutes. Reduce the heat slightly and continue baking (410? - 425? F) for the remainder of the time. Total baking time 40-45 minutes.

Master No Knead Bread Recipe
Here is my master recipie for no knead bread, meaning this bread is raised with yeast but does nor require kneading, it can be made in large batches and kept in a cold place for up to a week. this recipie is easy to alter (the flours) you can add herbs, fruits,sugars.. really your imagination is the only thing holding you back!
It can also be made into pizza or dinner rolls hamburger buns..on and on..
6 cups water
3Tbs dry yeast
3Tbs salt
13 cups of UNbleached all purpose flour
LARGE BPA free food grade container..
Bake loafs at 350*F for about an hour larger loafs will take longer, when you thmp it it should sound hollow..
At the end of the video i also expalin how to turn this into a sour dough starter without having to make a liquid starter!
