How To make Bob's Chicken and Rice
1 1/4 pounds boneless chicken
1 green pepper
chopped
1 large onion :
chopped
1 cup mushrooms sliced
3/4 cup broccoli florets
1/2 cup white rice
1 can cream of celery soup
1 1/2 tablespoons Mrs. Dash seasoning
salt and pepper :
to taste
This is a very quick and easy recipe. When I want really fast, I pick up all of the vegetables at the do-it-yourself salad counter in the super market. Nothing needs to be exact.
Arrange the chicken in a 9X13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the seasonings over the chicken. Then sprinkle the rice over the chicken. Mix the green pepper, onion, broccoli florets and mushroom and sprinkle the mix over the chicken. Finally pour the can of soup over the mix. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake at 375 degrees F for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until chicken is done. Enjoy.

المكونات والتعليمات خطوة بخطوة:
تحضير الدجاج
ستحتاج إلى دجاجة كاملة مقطعة إلى نصفين
اخلط البهارات التالية:
ملعقة صغيرة من الكمون والكزبرة والفلفل الحلو ومسحوق الثوم ونصف ملعقة صغيرة من الكركم
ملعقتان صغيرتان من الملح
تبل الدجاج بالتوابل
ضع كل نصف في ورق زبدة وورق ألمنيوم
أضف المكونات التالية والكمية فوق كل نصف دجاجة:
بصل مقطع 60 جرام
فلفل حلو مقطع (40 جم)
فلفل الحار
ثلاث فصوص ثوم
أوراق الغار
زيت الزيتون
لف كل قطعة وضعها في فرن محمى على درجة حرارة (400 درجة فهرنهايت / 200 درجة مئوية)
تطبخ لمدة ساعة
تحضير الأرز
ينقع نصف كوب من الزبيب في الماء لمدة 10 دقائق
ثم يصفى الماء من الزبيب ويقلى فى القليل من الزيت النباتى
اقلي بصل مقطع (250 جم) واحتفظ به لوقت لاحق
في قدر ، أضف المكونات التالية
زيت نباتي
بصل (100 جرام)
عصا القرفة
حب الهال
قرنفل
أوراق الغار
ليمون مجفف
ملعقة كبيرة ثوم
قم بطهيها على نار خفيفة قليلاً
ثم أضف ثلاثة أكواب من أرز بسمتي طويل الحبة مغسول ومنقوع
ملعقة ونصف من الملح
فلفل حار (اختياري)
أربعة أكواب ونصف من الماء
اطبخه على نار عالية حتى تقل كمية الماء
اخلط البصل المقلي مع الزبيب المقلي
أضف نصف ملعقة صغيرة من الكمون والكزبرة والفلفل الأسود
أضف القليل من الزعفران المنقوع
يضاف خليط البصل والزبيب
يُطهى على نار خفيفة لمدة خمس وعشرين دقيقة

Ingredients and step by step instructions:
Preparing the chicken
You'll need a whole chicken cut in half
Mix the following spices:
One tsp of each of cumin, coriander, paprika, garlic powder and one half of a tsp of turmeric
Two tsp of salt
Season the chicken the spices
Place each half in parchment paper and aluminum foil
Add the following ingredients and quantity on top of each chicken halve:
Onions (60g)
Bell peppers (40g)
Hot peppers
Three garlic gloves
Bay leaves
Olive oil
Wrap each piece up and place them in preheated oven at a temperature of (400 degrees Fahrenheit/200 degrees celsius)
Bake for one hour
Preparing the rice
Soaked a half a cup of raisins in water for 10 minutes
Then drain the water from the raisins and fry them in a little vegetable oil
Fry onions (250g) and save them for later
In a pot, add the following ingredients
Vegetable oil
Onions (100g)
Cinnamon stick
Cardamom
Cloves
Bay leaves
Dried lemon
One tbsp of garlic
Cook them on low heat for a little bit
Then add three cups of washed and soaked long grain basmati rice
One and a half tsps of salt
Hot peppers (optional)
Four and a half cups of water
Cook on high heat until the water quantity lessens
Mix the fried onions with the fried raisins
Add one half tsp of cumin, coriander, black pepper
Check on the rice
Add a little bit of soaked saffron
Add the onion and raisin mixture
Cook on low heat for twenty five minutes

Hainanese chicken (海南鸡饭)is a dish that dedicates to the tenderest and silkiest chicken. It sounds like one dish, but it is a complete meal as it includes chicken, rice, soup, and a few dipping sauces. Although it is popular Singapore food, the prototype is a dish called Weng Chang Ji (文昌鸡) in Hainan, China. Wen Chang Ji is a special breed of chicken, which is organically raised and freshly slaughtered right before cooking. So the chicken itself is fatty and flavorful. The chicken skin is bright yellow when cooked, and it has a rich buttery taste - so delicious. The chicken in the USA is less fatty and light in taste. I recommend using organic chicken for a better taste.
