How To make Black Forest Trifle Dessert
1/2 pk Devil's food cake mix
1/2 c Rum
21 oz Can cherry pie filling
CHOCOLATE CUSTARD:
2/3 c Sugar
1/4 c Cocoa
1/8 ts Salt
3 Eggs, beaten
2 c Milk
1 Toppings
1 c Whipping cream
2 tb Powdered sugar
1/4 c Sliced almonds, toasted
Prepare cake mix according to package directions; cut into 1/2 inch slices. Line bottom of 2 quart bowl of trifle dish with half of cake slices; sprinkle with 2-4 tbsp. rum. Spoon half of cherry pie filling over cake; top with half of choclate pudding. Repeat procedure with remaining cake, rum, pie filling and custard. Cover and chill. Beat whipping cream until foamy; gradually add powdered sugar, beating until soft peaks form. Spread over custard; garnish with almonds. CHOCOLATE CUSTARD: Combine first 3 ingredients in top of double boiler. Combine eggs and milk, gradually stir into dry mixture. Bring water in double boiler to a boil, reduce heat to low and cook custard, stirring constantly until thick. Cool. Dessert yields 6-8 servings.

BLACK FOREST Trifle | Quick & Easy Dessert | Kravings
This trifle is inspired by the ever popular Black Forest Cake. Layers of dark chocolate cake are studded with cherries & soaked in cherry syrup, layered with cherry jello and smothered in a rich cream and marscapone mixture. These layers are repeated twice are finished with swirls of cream, fresh cherries and chocolate curls.
Here are the ingredients and steps to make this recipe!
2 X 3 oz, 85 gms Cherry Jello
2 cups hot water
1/4 cup sliced pitted fresh Cherries
15 oz, 232 gm pkg Chocolate cake mix
2 x 398 ml can of canned cherries
Splash of Kirschk of Cherry Brandy
2 cups heavy whipping cream
4 - 6 tbsps Sugar
1 cup Marscapone cheese
Whole cherries for decorations
Chocolate curls or grated Chocolate
Prepare the jello by dissolving the jello in 2 cups of water
Allow it to cool, throw in the cherry halves and chill and allow it to set and cut in cubes
Bake the cake according to the package instructions, slice in 2 layers and cut each layers in cubes
Whip the cream and sugar and leave aside
Beat the Marscapone cheese, and fold into the cream
Drain the canned cherries and save the cherry syrup
Heat the syrup and add some Kirsch and allow to cool
Layer 1/2 the cake cubes, the syrup, canned cherries, jello and top with half the cream
Repeat this process
Decorate with cream swirls and chocolate curls

Black Forest Trifle | Perfect For Eid | Quick Dessert | SID STATION
The layers in this Black Forest Trifle all combine into an amazing combination of chocolate and cherry and cream. You get a double dose of chocolate from the chocolate cake and chocolate sauce.Then a generous layer of sweet cherry and it is all topped with creamy whipped cream.
This trifle is based on the classic Black Forest Cake, however if you aren’t a fan of cherries, you could do another fruit— like strawberry and pineapple. However, I have to tell you that the chocolate and cherry combination is by far the best combo!
Ingredients:
Chocolate sponge cake/ chocolate fudge cake/ chocolate brownie( please look for chocolate brownie recipe i shared )
It can be store bought or you can make it at home!
Canned Cherries / canned pineapple / canned strawberries / canned fruit.
Whipping cream or whip your own cream.
Cooking chocolate / normal chocolate / chocolate with nuts/cocoa powder
Milk or cream to make the chocolate sauce
Method:
Chocolate sauce:
Take a double boiler add chocolate to it let it melt a little then add milk or cream. Cook until all the chocolate is melted. To enhance the flavor put 2 tablespoons or good cocoa powder and if you like coffee you can put 1 teaspoon of diluted coffee.
Cool it down for better results.It will become thick.
Option :
Sauce with cocoa powder:
You can make this sauce with cocoa powder only. When making with cocoa powder dilute cocoa powder with milk/ cream and then start cooking.If the cocoa powder has no sugar add sugar to taste and if you like coffee add when cooking the sauce.

Assembling:
Cut or make crumbs of chocolate cake / brownie on the base of a a bowl. Then to make your sponge soft you can use the juice of the canned cherries .If your chocolate sauce is runny then it can also make the sponge soft.
So add either juice or runny chocolate sauce layer. Then cherries then whipping cream.
Repeat the step.
On the top add the chocolate shavings and some cherries.
Put in the fridge for good 3 hours before serving.
