Happy Halloween! This week Melinda’s in the kitchen making Black Cat Cupcakes from the Children’s Parties section of the Betty Crocker Recipe Card library. These cupcakes are part of Betty’s suggestions for how to throw a kid’s halloween party, so I’m going to do just that! We’ll have cupcakes, candy, and crafts, just like the elementary school parties we used to have.
These cupcakes feature black licorice gumdrops cut up and re-assembled into a cat-like shape, and homemade fluffy frosting. Easy, delicious, and cute!
Remember, these cakes are for humans only, so enjoy!

How to Make Adorable Kitten Cupcakes

Since she is SUCH an animal lover and just rescued (another) litter of kittens, I decided to make adorable kitten cupcakes. In this episode, I’ll show you how I created these adorable cupcakes from the fur down to the cute fondant details.
