This simple, but oh so buttery, Beer Bread recipe is a delicious way to make bread without yeast. It bakes up with a perfect buttery crust and soft, tender inside!
Crusty Beer Bread (Hand-Kneaded)
This is my own recipe. The bread has a crackling crisp crust and a deep, fermented taste and aroma. Ingredients and measurements are listed below - please watch the video for full directions.
4 cups (555 grams) bread flour, scooped and leveled 2 teaspoons (7 grams) instant yeast 2 teaspoons (12 grams) salt 12 ounces (341 ml) beer, at room temperature 1 tablespoon (15 ml) extra-virgin olive oil

BEER BREAD
I'm so happy I gave this recipe a try. You wouldn't think a simple four ingredient recipe would turn out so perfectly. The bread doesn't taste like beer to me, it's more of a yeasty flavor. The butter makes a crunchy crust. I hope you give this recipe a try.
RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS: 2 cups self-rising flour 2 Tbsp. sugar 12 oz. beer (I use bud light) 1/2 cup salted butter, (divided)
INSTRUCTIONS: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a standard sized loaf pan with non-stick spray. In a large bowl add the self-rising flour, sugar and beer. Stir until combined. Pour into the loaf pan. Melt half of the butter in the microwave or stove top and pour over batter evenly. Place the loaf pan on the center of the rack and bake for 1 hour or until golden brown and the center comes out clean when a toothpick is inserted in the center of the loaf. Melt the remaining butter and pour over the while hot and still in the pan. Remove from pan and let cool for 20 minutes before cutting and serving.
