How To make Banana Velvet Doughnuts
2 1/2 c Flour
2 1/2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Baking soda
1/4 ts Nutmeg
1/2 ts Salt
2 Egg
1/2 c Honey
1 Banana
2 tb Butter or margarine
1/2 c Sour cream
1/2 ts Vanilla
Fat for deep frying
Sift together dry ingredients. Beat eggs until light. Add honey gradually and continue beating until well mixed. Beat in mashed banana, butter, sour cream and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture. (Dough should be soft.) Chill 2 hours or longer. Roll out on floured board about 1/4-inch thick. Cut with doughnut cutter. In deep fat heated to 370 F, fry a few at a time. (Fry the holes as well as the doughnuts.) Turn doughnuts when they rise to the surface and are brown on the underside. Fry until brown on both sides. Remove from fat and drain thoroughly. Note: May form into long rolls and twist together to form crullers, cutting off every 2 inches.

baking time and temp: 180°C for 15-18 minutes.
ingredients in grams cups
500 grams all purpose flour = 3 and 3/4 cups flour
2 tbsp water = 1/8 cup water
140 grams sugar = 3/4 cup white sugar
5 grams salt = 1 tsp. salt
65 grams egg yolk = 3 pcs. egg yolks
15 grams instant yeast = 3 tsp. yeast
100 grams butter = 1/2 cup butter
200 grams milk = 200 ml. (almost 1 cup)milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract = 1 tsp. vanilla extract
white chocolate coating
250 grams white chocolate (I use couverture ) melted
1 tsp. oil (I use coconut but you can use palm or vegetable oil)
chocolate drizzle
30 grams dark chocolate melted
for toasted coconut topping
1/2 cup desicated coconut
1 tbsp. light brown sugar
for cinnamon sugar topping
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon (you can add more)
you can also do toppings with
vermicelli rainbow candy topping
vermicelli chocolate candy topping
sliced almond nuts for alcapone flavor
crushed oreo for cookies and cream flavor

Here's what you'll need:
1 cup warm water (250ml)
2 tsps instant yeast (6g)
1 egg
2 tbsps sugar (30g)
3 and ¼ cups all purpose flour (400g)
1 tsp salt (5g)
3 tbsps butter (45g) unsalted
3 cups oil for frying
granulated sugar for coating
PORTUGUESE:
Aqui está o que você precisa:
1 xícara de água morna (250ml)
2 tsps de fermento instantâneo (6g)
1 ovo
