1/4 c Shortening 3/4 c Sugar 2 lg Beaten Eggs 1 ds Vanilla 2 c Flour 1 ts Baking Soda 1 ts Salt 3 tb Sour Milk 1 c Mashed Bananas 1/2 c Nutmeats Cream together the shortening and the sugar until fluffy. Combine the eggs, vanilla and sour milk with the shortening sugar mixture. Add the flour, baking soda and salt to the previous mixture. Bake in a 350?F oven for one hour. Test for doneness with a toothpick. From: Syd's Cookbook.

Recently, I fall in love with banana bread. It's very easy and convenient recipe to save your overripe banana. I kept on practicing it even until today because practice makes perfect. When I travel to Sydney last year, I visited O cafe in Surry Hills. I tried its infamous Banana Bread with espresso butter. I have to say it's one of the best dessert I ever tried. So I re make the espresso butter too. It reminds me of Sydney.

The Easiest BANANA BREAD You'll Ever Make! | The Corrigan Sisters
This easy banana bread is soft, light, and moist! And the best part of it is that it is all made in one bowl, and requires only a few simple ingredients! It’s our family’s favorite recipe! RECIPE DOWN BELOW:

BANANA BREAD: By: The Corrigan Sisters Makes: 1 Loaf
INGREDIENTS:
-2 cups all-purpose flour
-1 teaspoon baking soda
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-1/2 cup oil
-1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
-2 large eggs
-4 overripe bananas
-1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Preheat the oven to 350F. Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, mash bananas with a fork, or potato masher until smooth in consistency. 3. Now add in 1/2 cup of oil, 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 2 large eggs, mixing until fully combined.
3. Sift in 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon salt, and stir.
4. If you want to add nuts of raisins to your banana bread, add 1/2 cup of each (optional)
5. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
