#BushsBeansPartner I love my chili on the sweeter side so Bush’s Beans Sweet Heat is perfect for this recipe! I love that the beans are cooked so all you really have to do is heat them up. Sweet Heat is perfectly sweet, perfectly spicy… great for hot dogs, nachos, burgers and so much more! #beansquad
1 lb ground meat of choice
12 oz chili sauce (can be found in the condiment aisle)
1 chili season packet (1.25 oz)
2 TBSP buffalo wing sauce
2 TBSP mustard
1 tsp onion power (or garlic powder)
28 oz @bushsbeans Sweet Heat*
1/2 cup water
Juice from 1/2 a lemon
Oil, for cooking
*I love mine with a lot of beans so I used the 28 oz can but their 12 oz can works just as great!
ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS
Hot dogs
Hot dog buns
Cheddar cheese
Diced onions
Heat up some oil and then brown ground beef
Once ground beef is browned, add the rest of your ingredients: chili sauce, chili seasoning packet, buffalo wing sauce, mustard, onion powder, Bush’s Beans Sweet Heat, water and the juice from 1/2 a lemon
Bring to a light boil and then turn off heat. The beans are cooked so you do not need to cook it for long.
Enjoy on with hot dogs, nachos, burgers, etc

3 bls (1.361 kg) ground beef (I used 85 / 15 fat to meat ratio)
1 medium to large onion finely chopped
5 cloves garlic minced
6 Tbsp (40 g) chili powder (I used McCormick Brand)
3 tsp (7 g) smoked paprika
3 tsp (8 g) garlic powder
3 tsp (8 g) onion powder
3 tsp (7 g) ground cumin
3 Tbsp (49.5 g) tomato paste
7 cups (1.65 L) low sodium beef broth
1 chipotle pepper in Adobo sauce
2 Tbsp Adobo sauce from can of chipotle peppers
2 - 15 oz cans pinto beans (drained and rinsed)
salt and pepper to taste
*For corn starch slurry*
4 Tbsp (35 g) corn starch
4 Tbsp (60 ml) cold water
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a preheated on a medium high heat 6 .5 qt pot add 3 tbsp oil and ground beef
- Add salt and pepper to taste, cook ground beef for 5 to 8 minutes
-Now add garlic and onion, combine and continue to cook for 3 to 5 minutes
- Next add and combine all dry seasonings and spices to cooked ground beef
- Now add tomato paste, combine and cook for a minute or two
- Next add beef broth, stir and mix well
- Add chopped chipotle pepper, adobo sauce and bring to a boil
- Cover pot with a lid, lower the heat and gently simmer for 1 hour stirring through out
- After and hour add cornstarch slurry to thicken chili
- Add drained and rinsed pinto beans combine and simmer for and additional 15 minutes then serve

We’re taking the chill off in the kitchen today with our Chili recipe. What’s great about chili is you can substitute any kind of meat whether is ground beef, wild game or even chunk meat. We’re giving you a great seasoning base and some ideas for your chili and from there you can customize to suit your tastes. Beans- no beans… hey I like a bean to give it an even heartier feel. So we hope you enjoy our chili recipe!

8- 10 servings
Cowboy Chili
2 pounds ground beef (wild game, chunk meat, etc.)
1 large yellow onion, chopped
2 (10 oz.) can Rotel (we used chunky), drained
1 Rotel can water
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1 (16 oz) can kidney beans, drained (or your bean choice)
Green Chile Chipotle Relish (available or 3 - 4 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, chopped or to taste
1/3 cup chile powder
½ tsp cumin
2 tsp oregano powder
2 tsp paprika or smoked paprika
2 tsp salt
3 tsp minced garlic
1. In a large pot or 12” Dutch oven brown the hamburger over medium high heat. Season with salt and pepper or seasoning of your choice, to taste. As the meat begins to brown, stir in the onions. Continue cooking until the meat has fully browned and onions are tender. If there is a lot of excess grease, drain.
2. Stir in the Rotel, water, tomato sauce, beans, chipotle peppers or relish. Stir in the seasonings. Adjust taste, if needed.
3. Cover and cook over medium-high heat until it reaches a boil. Boil a couple minutes. Reduce heat and simmer for about 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Serve warm with cheese, onions, sour cream, etc.
