How To make BEEF StrOGANOFF...RUSSIAN STYLE
Ingredients

pound
sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
4
tablespoon
all-purpose flour
2
teaspoon
salt 4 tb butter or margarine
1
each
mushrooms, drained, 3 oz., can, sliced
2
each
onion, chopped
1
each
clove of garlic, minced
1
tablespoon
tomato paste
1
each
beef broth, 10 oz., can
1
cup
sour cream
1
hot buttered noodles
Directions:
Coat beef strips with 1 tbsp. flour and salt. Brown beef strips quickly in
1 tbsp. butter in a skillet. Add mushrooms, onion and garlic; cook until
onion is crisp-tender, 3 to 4 min. Remove meat and mushrooms from pan.
Add 2 tbsp. butter to pan drippings; blend in 3 tbsp. flour. Add tomato
paste. Stir in broth. Stir over medium heat until thick and bubbly.
Return meat and mushrooms to skillet. Stir in sour cream; cook slowly
until heated through. Do not boil. Serve over hot buttered noodles.

Ingredients:
Beef Steak - 500gm
Butter - Around 150gm
All-purpose flour - 45gm
Chopped Onion - 1 Big size
Sour Cream - 200gm
Salt - To Taste
Black Pepper - 1/4 Tsp
Paprika - 1/4 Tsp
Mustard - 1/2 Tsp
Beef Broth - 1 Cup
|Method|
1) Cut the steak in strips. Put a frying pan on low/medium heat. Add in 1 & 1/2 Tbsp butter and fry your beef strips from both sides, until done. Put them aside. Save the juices for sauce.
2) Grab another pan, put in the beef sauce we saved, add 3 Tbsp Butter, let it melt. Then add chopped onion and flour. Mix it well
3) Add Sour Cream. Mix it. Then let it simmer for a few minutes.
4) Add your beef strips. Give it a stir. Add 2 TBSP butter, Salt, Black Pepper, Paprika, and Mustard. Mix it well so all the flavor can be absorbed by the meat. Let is simmer.
5) Optional: You can add Beef broth if your sauce is too thick. After adding beef broth, wait for the water to evaporate, let it simmer for few minutes and your Beef Stroganoff is ready to serve.
6) Serve it over mashed potatoes because that is how Russians like it.

For the dish to be perfect, preferably use very tender meat (Beef Sirloin Steak), you can replace the meat with chicken or shrimp.
The combination of dijon mustard and fresh cream gives this Strogonoff dish a creamy and incredible flavor. The amount of fresh cream is a personal taste, you can add more fresh cream if you wish, it will also be delicious!
To accompany the beef stroganoff I used basmati rice. Basmati rice, due to being very aromatic and with an almost sweet flavor, perfectly accompanies the Beef Stroganoff.
I made the basmati rice recipe in this video. It is extremely easy, the rice is always soft in just 10 minutes!
Before preparing basmati rice it is important to wash it well until the water comes out very clean. After washing, wait for the rice to dry.
Cook the rice for 10 minutes until all the water evaporates. And the rice is ready!
With the help of a fork, separate the rice grains and you will always get a very fluffy rice!

Onion - 3 piece

Cucumber pickles - 170 gramm (Namakin brand)
Plane flour
Cooking cream - 700 gramm
