How To make Rolled Oat Burgers
2 c Water
2 c Old-fashioned rolled oats
2 tb Low-sodium tamari or soy
1 tb Olive oil
2 ts Olive oil
1 c Diced onion
1/2 c Grated carrots
1/2 c Diced celery
1/2 c Diced red bell peppers
2 cl Garlic, minced
2 ts Dried oregano
6 Leaves fresh basil, minced
1/2 ts Fresh ground black pepper
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add oats, tamari or soy sauce and 1 tb oil. Reduce heat to low and cook 2 minutes; remove from heat and set aside. In skillet, heat the remaining oil over medium heat. Add rest of ingredients and saute 2 minutes or until vegetables are softened. Add t cooked oat and combined well. Chill at least 2 hours or overnight. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Using an ice cream scoop (1/4 cup), portion mixture. Form each portion into a ball and flatten slightly. Place on a lightly oiled baking sheet and bake 20 minutes until golden brown. Nutrition analysis per burger: 97 calories, 4 grams protein, 3 grams fat, 15 grams carbohydrates, no cholesterol, 80 milligrams sodium, 26 percent calories from fat. -----

Honey Oat Buns
Upgrade your burger with a soft, but hearty, homemade oat bun.
INGREDIENTS
2 cups warm water (100 – 110o F) (500 ml)
1 Tbsp active dry yeast (15 ml)
1/4 cup honey (60 ml)
3 Tbsp Canola oil (45 ml)
2 tsp salt (10 ml)
1 cup quick oats (250 ml)
2 cups whole wheat flour (500 ml)
2 cups all-purpose flour (500 ml)
Oat flour or all-purpose flour, for kneading (plus additional, if required)
1 large egg, beaten
1/4 cup rolled (or quick) oats (60 ml)

Ingredients you need to make oats rajma patties:-
1 cup quick oats
1 cup cooked rajma/black beans/kidney beans
1 cup Sprouts
1 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
2 tsp dried fenugreek/Kasuri Methi
Salt to taste
1-2 chopped green chillies
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp Cumin seeds powder
2-3 tsp lime/lemon juice
Method to make oats Burger Patties:-
1. Add quick oats to a pan and roast them for 5/7 minutes
2. In a large bowl add roasted oats with all the ingredients mentioned above. Mix everything very well.
3. Now take some mixture and make pattie of it. Do the same with the rest of the mixture.
4. Now heat a pan/tava and add a tsp oil
5. Saute the Oats Burger Patties on tava at medium to low heat, once they are golden brown from both sides remove for the tava.
6. Your Oats Burger Patties are ready, you can have them in your Burger and Sandwich or even use them for roll filling.

OAT BURGER PATTIES
4 cups water
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup nutritional yeast flakes
2 Tbs canola oil
1 Tbs ground flaxseed
1 Tbs dried sweet basil
1 tsp dried sage
1 tsp ground coriander
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
1 cup walnuts, finely chopped
4 cups rolled oats
Into a pot, place the ingredients in the given order, except the rolled oats.
On medium heat, bring the water to a slow boil.
Quickly stir in the rolled oats and immediately remove from the heat.
Cover and set aside to cool.
Form the oat mixture into 7.6cm (3 inch) patties. To give the look of a burger patty, use the screw lid and seal of an Agee jar. Fill the lid with the mixture and then push the lid through the ring.
Place patties on oiled baking sheets.
Bake at 180°C for 20 minutes on each side.
Serving suggestions:
As a patty in a bun with salad.
With mashed potato and gravy.
Crumbled in a tomato sauce over pasta.
