Canning Rattlesnake Green Beans
Chinese Python Snake Beans From Small Seedlings Till Harvest and Taste
I grew these for the first time this year. I didn't know what to expect, so I was a little surprised by how it went. In this video, I'll show them as they grow, then we will harvest some and do a little taste test of some. I will also let you know what I think of the ones that I cooked.
One thing you should know about Chinese Python Snake Beans is that they aren't beans at all, they are edible gourds.
If I could give you one tip about growing them, it would be that you need to make sure you have plenty of room. Once they start growing, they will grow to be very long vines.

3 easy steps - how to preserve green beans | Rattlesnake Pole Beans
I share with you a simple method with 3 easy steps on how to preserve green beans. Sometimes growing your own food and bringing in a large harvest is rewarding, but it can be overwhelming too if you do not know how to preserve all of this fresh healthy food for later use to feed your family.
Eating as much of it fresh is best, but most gardeners find they need a method to preserve the food that they grow as not to waste it.
This is my favorite way to process and preserve green beans for use later.
Step 1: Clean the green beans
Step 2: Cut the ends off of the green beans (I share with you a simple way to easily cut all the different size beans efficiently in the video)
Step 3: Place beans in freezer bags for storage in the freezer.

Rattlesnake Beans and Corn Bread
It's Rattlesnake Beans and Corn Bread ya'll!
So, what is a pole bean you ask??? It is simply a bean plant that likes to grow up a pole instead of just being a bush that grows beans. It is my understanding that pole beans keep producing throughout the season as long as you keep picking them whereas bush beans are through producing once you picked your harvest.
