Here is the recipe:
Ingredient:
2 cups yellow cornmeal
1-1 1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups water, boiling
1-2 cups vegetable oil
1-2 tablespoons bacon grease (optional)
2 tablespoons sugar (optional)
Directions:
Heat enough oil in a large iron skillet or heavy bottom skillet on high heat. (Oil needs to come half way up the side of the skillet.)
In a medium bowl, mix together cornmeal and salt. Stir in enough boiling hot water that the cornmeal mixture comes together enough to spoon (not too thick and not too thin, kinda like creamy mashed potatoes).
As soon as the oil in the skillet is hot, but not smoking, spoon hot cornmeal mixture in your hands that have been dipped in hot/warm water and then gently place in the hot oil. Fry each in hot oil, turning once, until crisp and golden brown, about 5 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
Note: The Hot Water Cornmeal will be really tender, if you try not to handle the cornmeal mixture with your hand so much. Wet your hands with hot/warm water in between spooning it!
You can add a couple tablespoons of sugar if you want it sweet.

The Best Apple Nachos
The Ultimate Apple Nachos have the most amazing homemade caramel sauce and come together in just 30 minutes to make the most versatile and delicious dish! Choose from your favorite toppings and serve it up as a mid-day snack, party appetizer, or dessert!

✅Ingredients
Apple Bourbon Caramel:
• 1 cup salted butter
• 2 ¼ cups brown sugar
• 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
• 1 cup light corn syrup
• 5 tablespoons apple bourbon
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 teaspoon salt
Apple Nachos:
• 4 apples
• ½ cup mini chocolate chips
• ¼ cup white chocolate, melted
• ¼ cup toffee bits
• ¼ cut peanuts, finely chopped
• ½ cup mini marshmallows
✅Instructions
Apple Bourbon Caramel:
1️⃣ Melt butter into a large saucepan over medium heat. Once melted, pour in sweetened condensed milk, corn syrup and add in brown sugar.
2️⃣ Using a whisk or rubber spatula, stir all ingredients over medium heat until it starts to simmer. Scrape the sides and bottom regularly.
3️⃣ Let the sauce simmer until the temperature reaches 200-205 degrees. We are just making a sauce and so we need to simmer it long enough to get the granulation out, but not take it to soft ball stage.
4️⃣ Once it has reached the temperature, remove from heat and carefully stir in the vanilla, apple bourbon and salt. Stir it until it is all well combined.
5️⃣ Let cool and then pour into jars for storage. Shelf stable for up to 1 month.
Apple Nachos:
1️⃣ Using a washed, clean apple- slicing from the exterior to the interior, cut thin cross sections of the apple until you get to the core, Change directions and cut all the way around the apple to make the apple chips.
2️⃣ Spread the apple slices on a plate and drizzle with the caramel sauce and toppings that you desire and enjoy!

ITALIAN NACHOS - COPYCAT TERILLI'S RECIPE
Ingredients for 2 servings
half a ball of premade, storebought pizza dough
olive oil (enough to just cover the bottom of a skillet)
flour for dusting
Chicken, Pesto, & Goat Cheese topping:
poached chicken (1-2 tenders)
1/4 cup fresh pesto
2 tablespoons goat cheese
Broccoli Raab & Parmesan topping:
4-6 stalks broccoli raab
2 large cloves sliced garlic
pinch of crushed red pepper flakes
2-4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Basic Cheese topping:
8-10 small mozarella balls
4-6 tablespoons grated Parmesan
2 tablespoons tomato sauce
optional: dried thyme and/or oregano
Pancetta & Cheese topping:
1-2 tablespoons diced pancetta
2-4 small mozzarella balls
3 Cheese topping:
Mozzarella balls
Parmesan Cheese
Goat Cheese
Bake temp: go by the directions in the pizza dough, or 450F/220C for 5 minutes
Recipe summary (see video for specifics): roll out pizza dough to 1/8th inch. Cut into triangles or squares. Pour enough olive oil into a skillet to just cover the bottom. Heat until a test piece of dough dropped into the oil creates active bubbles around the dough. Fry dough pieces on one side and drain on a wire rack covered with paper towels. Top with choice of toppings and bake for 5 minutes or until cheese melts but before the tips burn.
