16 slices stale raisin cinnamon bread 3 eggs 2 egg yolks 1 cup melted vanilla ice cream 1 dash nutmeg, cinnamon 1 1/2 cups maple syrup 1/2 cup toasted pecans Blend eggs, yolks and ice cream. Arrange 8 of the bread slices in buttered 9x13" baking dish. Pour 1/2 custard mixture over, add second layer of bread and pour remaining over all. Sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon. Bake @ 350 10 minutes or till cutard is set. Mix maple syrup with pecans. Warm on low and serve over toast.

Lisa's Baked Stuffed French Toast
The french toast is a great dish for a gathering for brunch, a special breakfasts or for any day you want to have a little something special. It is prepared the night before and baked the next day, so there is no work to do the day you serve it. When it comes out of the oven, it is like a bread pudding. It is warm, sweet and delicious!
