How To make Baked French Toast (Ovo Lacto)
2/3 c Cottage cheese, lowfat
1/4 c Skim milk
2 tb Sugar
1 lg Egg white
1/2 ts Vanilla extract
4 sl Whole grain bread
: Perheat the oven to 425. In a food proscessor or blender, whirl the cottage cheese, milk, sugar, egg, egg white, & vanilla for about 1 minute or until smooth. Transfer the mixture to a shallow dish, place the bread in it, and let stand for 10 minutes. Turn the bread over and let stand another 10 minutes. Meanwhile, grease a baking sheet & place it in the perheated oven for 7 minutes. : Remove the baking sheet from the oven, place the bread on it, and bake for 6 minutes. Turn the bread over & bake 5 to 6 minutes. 【 Ingredients |食材 】
1. 面包 - 2片
Two slices of bread
2. 鸡蛋 - 3粒
Three eggs
3. 牛奶 - 50毫升
50ml of milk
4. 牛油 - 适量
Moderate amount of butter
5. 蜂蜜 - 适量
Moderate amount of honey
6. 蓝莓 - 适量
Moderate amount of blueberry
7. 蓝莓酱 - 适量
Moderate amount of blueberry sauces
8. 肉桂粉 - 适量
Moderate amount of cinnamon powder
9. 白糖 - 适量
Moderate amount of sugar
10. 糖粉 - 适量
Moderate amount of icing sugar
11. 盐 - 少许
A little salt

【制作步骤 First Making Steps 】
1. 打入三粒鸡蛋,再把鸡蛋打散
Cracked three eggs and beat the eggs.
2. 加入少许的盐和50毫升的牛奶。
Add a pinch of salt and 50 ml of milk.
3. 搅拌均匀。
Stir well.

【 烹饪部分 Cooking Steps 】
1. 打开电炉热一热锅
Turn on the electric stove to heat up the pan.
2. 把牛油加在煎盘上
Add the butter to the frying pan.
3. 把两面的面包浸泡大概1到2秒。
Soak the bread about 1 to 2 seconds on both sides.

【 煎煮部分 Frying Part 】
1. 加点肉桂粉和白糖在面包上
add a little cinnamon powder and sugar on top of bread
2. 把面包反面再加糖
Add sugar at the reverse side of bread
3. 面包煎好了,再以同样的方式煎第二片面包.
When the bread is done, fry the second slices of bread with the same steps as above.

【 摆美部分 Decorations Part 】
1. 把面包涂上蓝莓酱,然后切半
Spread the bread with blueberry sauce and cut it in half.
2. 之后,摆上几粒蓝莓在旁边
Add a few blueberries at side.
3. 撒上糖粉和淋上蜂蜜
Sprinkle with icing sugar and drizzle with honey.
4. 最后,我们就大功告成了!

朋友愛吃石硤尾南山邨某餐廳的芝麻蝦多士,每次也必點,記者對蝦多士則又愛又恨,香口小吃誰不喜歡,但吃後滿嘴油膩,於是便生起自製非油炸蝦多士的念頭。其實即使不經油炸,也可製作香脆的蝦多士,再配上香濃芝士,絕對是下午茶滋味小吃!

When you have leftover Greek Easter Sweet Bread aka Tsoureki which became stale, this is an easy solution for not throwing it away and get a super delicious combo for snack or lunch!
Suitable for lacto-ovo vegetarians.
INGREDIENTS:
8 slices Stale Tsoureki
Butter for spreading on the tsoureki slices
4 slices Greek Kasseri Cheese 0.5cm/0.2in thick (Altern: Gruyere, White mild Cheddar)
