RECIPE-ONE POT TURKEY PASTA
Hey guys! We all need quick, easy, fast recipes sometimes. Well if you love pasta and fast, this is the one for you! I used ground turkey in this but you can use any type of meat you'd like.
Remember I cook without measuring so bear with me.
INGREDIENTS:
3 cloves garlic minced
1/2 onion small cubes
2 tbsp canola oil
1 lb ground turkey browned
2 cans organic stewed tomatoes
2 cup water
1/2 lb penne pasta
1 tsp hot pepper flakes
1 tbsp oregano
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp coconut sugar
PREPARATION:
Saute onions and garlic until the onion is translucent so the garlic doesn't burn. Add turkey and cook until browned. Season turkey with salt and pepper. Add stewed tomatoes let simmer together. Add hot pepper flakes and oregano. Add water and simmer for 5 minutes. Add Pasta and cover and let it simmer together until pasta is cooked. Add sugar and mix. Turn off heat and keep partially covered for 5 minutes and serve. Maximum cook time from beginning to end: 30 minutes.
