We've made homemade Kahlua now let's use it in a cake. Not just any cake but a recipe that makes a moist sweet cake. If you don't have homemade Kahlua or homemade chocolate cake mix you can always go out and buy it but making your own is so easy.

How to make a Black Russian in less than 30 seconds!
A Black Russian is the simplest of mixed drinks with equal parts Kahlua and vodka. It's name is derived from the colour of the coffee liqueur and vodka being Russia's typical spirit of choice.
Variations Worth Trying
- Black Russian with Cola
- Black Magic - dash of lemon juice and a twist
- White Russian - add a dash of milk
INGREDIENTS
- 45mL Kahlua
- 45mL Vodka

Black Russian Pie | Boozy Dessert | Easy
Have you had a rough day, but can't decide between your favorite chocolate dessert and a large glass of hooch? No need to choose with this deliciously boozy Black Russian Pie. An Oreo cookie crust adds to the chocolate intensity. With as much alcohol as this pie packs, I don't recommend eating more than one slice at a time! Bottoms up and bon appetit!!
Black Russian Pie
26 Oreo cookies
4 tablespoons, 56g, butter, melted
3.9 oz., 110g, instant chocolate pudding
2½ oz., 75ml, vodka
1½ oz., 40ml, Kahlúa
4 ozs., 113ml, whole milk
8ozs., 226g, Cool Whip (non dairy whipped topping), divided
Process the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or smashing them with a rolling pin. Mix in the melted butter until completely incorporated. Press crumb mixture into the bottom and up the sides of an 8-inch deep dish pie plate. Using a measuring cup helps to make the sides and bottom even.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the instant pudding, alcohol and milk using a whisk. Whisk for 2-3 minutes or until the pudding thickens. Add in half the Cool Whip and whisk to completely combine. Spoon the pudding mixture into the pie crust and smooth. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3-4 hours or overnight. Top the pie with the remaining Cool Whip. Refrigerate until you are ready to serve. Garnish with chocolate cookie crumbs.
