Hazel's Winter Veil Gingerbread Cookie Recipe
Gingerbread cookie recipe with Royal Frosting! Gingerbread is my very favourite kind of Winter Veil / Christmas / Holiday baked treat, so I decided to share my recipe for Gingerbread cookies! I also show you how I make royal frosting to decorate the gingerbread, but if you're lazy (and I often am not judging) you can purchase Cookie Icing in packets ready to be squeezed onto your gingerbread.
Gingerbread cookies are easy to make, and fun to decorate with the family. I'm a bit of a cookie decorating klutz but with a piping bag and a tip, an artistically minded baker could make some really beautiful cookies. If you'd like your Royal Frosting to be colored, add a few drops of food coloring when mixing it.
This particular Gingerbread Cookie recipe is my own family recipe and is not from the Warcraft Cookbook. I'm a big fan of the Warcraft cookbook, though, and if this video does well I'd love to make more cooking videos featuring recipes from the WoW cookbook! Don't forget to like and share if you enjoyed the video!

Gingerbread With No Molasses And Brown-sugar/Gingerbread House Cake Making Part 2/Royal Icing Recipe
#Gingerbreadhousecake #assemblinggingerbreadcookie #Royalicing
Here’s my completely homemade Gingerbread House recipe including how to make gingerbread cookies(IN PART 1), how to construct a gingerbread house on cake and how to decorate with royal icing and buttercream. These house making process took several steps includes making the dough and the pattern pieces, rolling out the dough and baking the pieces, assembling the pieces and decorating the house. This part 2 refers detailed description of how to make Royal Icing including Pasteurizing the egg. Royal icing is not only used for decorating, it is the “glue” that holds the house together. As the royal icing dried, it gently dripped off the sides and looked like snow! We can make the royal icing the day before– cover and store at room temperature or in the refrigerator overnight. Let it come to room temperature before using. When we make this egg whites royal icing recipe, we should use pasteurized eggs. Pasteurization destroys Salmonella, a harmful bacteria in eggs. This bacteria causes an infection called Salmonellosis. There are other choices we can use to make royal icing such as meringue powder. Pasteurizing egg is pretty simple. The eggs are gently heated in their shells to kill all the bacteria. They don’t actually cook the eggs. They just heat them enough to kill bacteria so it’s safe to use them for uncooked or partially cooked food.
Ingredients for Royal Icing:-
Egg white(pasteurized) - 1
Powdered sugar - 350 g
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Ingredients for Butter Icing:-
Butter(room temperature) - 300 g
Powdered sugar - 500 g
Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
Recipe notes:-
* Use pasteurized eggs for making Royal icing.
* We can store the royal icing by cover and keep at room temperature or in the refrigerator. Let it
come to room temperature before using.
