How To make Garbanzo Oat Waffles
1 c AM Oat Flakes
1/2 c AM Garbanzo Flour
1 1/4 c Water
1 tb AM Unrefined Vegetable Oil
2 ts Honey
1/4 ts Sea salt, or more (optional)
1/2 ts Non-alum baking powder
Preheat waffle iron. Place oatmeal in blender. Grind into coarse flour. Add all remaining ingredients. Blend. Let sit a few minutes. Blend again for 2 seconds. Pour into hot, well-oiled waffle iron. Whole-grain waffles. No one ever guesses these are made with beans and whole grains. Make sure you use a regular, not Belgium waffles maker. Use a waffle iron with heat settings and preheat the waffle iron to the hottest setting. This is key.

INGREDIENTS
Chickpea waffles:
1/2 small yellow onion, peeled and roughly chopped
1 large garlic clove, smashed and peeled
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 pound dried chickpeas, soaked in water overnight, then drained
3 large eggs
4 tablespoons vegetable or coconut oil
Herby Israeli salad and harissa tahini sauce:
1/4 cup tahini
1 1/2 teaspoons harissa
1 pinch kosher salt, plus more to taste
5 tablespoons cold water
1 seedless English cucumber, diced
3 small (or 2 medium) tomatoes, diced
1/2 cup parsley leaves, finely chopped
1/3 cup mint leaves, finely chopped
1/3 cup cilantro leaves, finely chopped
1 lemon, juiced
2 tablespoons olive oil

-Apple- 100g
-Coconut oil- 20g
-Plant milk- 80ml
-Chickpea flour 160g
-A pinch of salt
-Hemp seeds- optional
-Baking soda- 1/2tsp
-Apple cider vinegar/lemon juice- 1tbsp
