How To make Funnel Cakes 3
1 1/2 c Flour
1/4 ts Salt
1/4 ts Baking soda
2 tb Sugar
2 ts Baking powder
1 ea Egg, beaten
2/3 c Milk
Sift all dry ingredients together. Mix egg and milk together; add to dry ingredients. Beat until smooth. (More milk will be needed, but add it gradually until the consistency of pancake batter.) Fill pan with 1 inch of cooking oil and heat as for cooking doughnuts. Hold finger over bottom of funnel. Pour in about 1/4 cup batter. Remove finger and let batter drop in spiral motion into pan of hot oil. Fry until golden brown, turning once with tongs. Remove from pan and drain on paper towel. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve hot. Makes 6 funnel cakes. (At the fair, these are also served with a cinnamon/sugar mix sprinkled on them. I'm still trying to decide which is better. I think I need to try both of them again <g>.) -----

Quick and easy 3 ingredient funnel cake

You don't have to go to the fair to get your Funnel Cake Fix. With this easy 3 ingredient recipe, you can have this delicious treat at home ANYTIME! I hope you enjoy! Don't forget to subscribe.
Mel’s homemade funnel cake
You’ll need:
2 cups of complete pancake mix
1 ½ cups of water
Powdered sugar
1 zip lock bag or funnel
Frying oil (I use coconut oil)
Instructions:
1) Heat frying oil to medium high heat.
2) In a bowl whisk together pancake mix and water.
3) Pour mix into the zip lock bag and seal. The cut one of the bottom corner tips off in order to pour the mix.
4) Pour the mix into hot frying oil in circular motion creating your funnel cake shape.
5) Fry both sides until golden brown
6) Place the funnel cake on to a paper towel to remove excess oil
7) Top with powdered sugar or your choice off toppings
8) Enjoy.
Funnel Cake Made EASY With Pancake Mix

RECIPE:
Vegetable oil, for frying
1 cup buttermilk pancake mix
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 cup water (approx.)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Powdered sugar
1. Fill an 8-inch skillet halfway with oil, then turn it to medium heat until it reaches about 360 degrees.
2. Add pancake mix to a bowl and whisk in the water, sugar, and vanilla. Batter should be the thickness of cake batter, not too runny and not too gooey. It should fall from the whisk like ribbons. Pour batter into a bottle with a 1/4-inch nozzle, or use a plastic sandwich baggie with the corner cut off.
3. Test oil by dropping a small dot of batter in the pan. It should quickly float and bubble around the edges without burning. If oil is ready, quickly squeeze the batter in a circular motion into the frying pan, forming a 5-inch disk. Cook about a minute until golden brown on the bottom. Flip and cook other side, about 30 seconds to 1 minute, until golden brown.
4. Remove from the oil and transfer to a plate lined with paper towels. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve warm.

✅Ingredients
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup milk
• 1 cup water
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 1 tablespoon baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• canola or vegetable oil, for frying
✅Instructions
1️⃣ 00:00:21 - In a large mixing bowl, whisk eggs. Pour in milk, water, and vanilla and whisk until well blended. Add in sugar, baking powder, and salt and stir to combine. Add in flour and whisk until smooth
2️⃣ 00:01:25 - Cover the bottom of a heavy skillet with 1/2 to 1-inch of oil. Heat to 375 degrees.
3️⃣ 00:01:35 - Transfer the batter to a funnel or squeeze bottle. If using a funnel, plug the spout with your finger and lade into about 1/2 cup at a time. Drizzle into the hot oil in a spiral motion until all batter has been used.
4️⃣ 00:02:02 - Fry for about 2 minutes per side, until golden brown. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate or baking sheet to drain.
