How To make Fudge Pudding Cake with Chocolate Sauce
1 c Flour
1 1/2 c Sugar
divided
2 ts Baking powder
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 c Butter :
melted
1/2 c Cocoa divided
1/2 c Milk
1 t Vanilla
1/2 c Almonds :
finely chopped
2 1/2 c Milk -- hot
Icing sugar Whipped cream or vanilla ice
Fat grams per serving: Approx. Cook Time: :45 Preheat oven to 350F. Combine flour, 3/4 cup of sugar, baking powder and salt in 13x9x2" ungreased rectungular cake pan. Combine butter and 1/4 of the cocoa, add to dry ingredients along with 1/2 cup of milk and vanilla; mix well with a fork. Combine remaining 3/4 cup sugar, remaining 1/4 cup cocoa and almonds. Sprinkle over batter. Carefully pour 2 1/2 cups hot milk over all; do not stir. Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes or till top is shiny and sauce is bubbly. Dust with icing sugar and serve immediately with whipped cream or ice cream and garnish with addtional almonds, if desired. This cake bakes in its own sauce. from The Cooking with Milk Calendar 1992

Here's What You'll Need:
200g dark chocolate
175g butter
120g soft brown sugar
pinch sea salt
100g ground almonds
2tbsp cocoa powder
4 eggs
150g self raising flour
150g chocolate fudge bars
Extras: ice cream, caramel sauce
How You Make It:
Preheat the oven to 180c. Break the chocolate into small pieces and place in a food processor along with the butter, almonds, sugar, salt and 1tbsp of cocoa powder.
Turn the food processor up to high and blitz the ingredients until smooth. Now add the flour and eggs. Blitz again to fully combine the ingredients.
Grease a bakeware dish with butter then sprinkle on the remaining cocoa. Shake the dish to fully coat the butter with cocoa then discard any extra.
Spoon the cake mixture into the dish and level off with a spatula. Sprinkle the broken up fudge bars over the top. Bake for 20 minutes. It should be set on top but gooey underneath.
Enjoy with ice cream.

Ingredients:
1 cup maida (all purpose flour)
1/2 cup super fine sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup warm milk
1/4 cup melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
FUDGE SAUCE:
1/2 cup caster sugar + 1/2 cup brown sugar
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1+1/4 cup boiling water
RECIPE NOTES-
This recipe is super quick. But just a few points to keep in mind so that you get all that beautiful gooeyness from the cake-
While mixing the dry ingredients for the cake batter, if your cocoa powder is lumpy, you can sift it in instead of simply adding it. Sifting will help remove all the lumps and give a smooth batter.
While pouring over boiling water, make sure to not mix it in. let the water just sit and the cake will bake beautifully.
When the cake is in the oven, check for the jiggly centre after 35 minutes of baking. If you think the cake is too liquidy from the centre, then you can bake it for an additional 10 minutes.
If you want to enhance the chocolate flavor even more, you can add 1/4tsp of coffee powder into the boiling water and then bake this cake.
